Robo Logic 2 HD

I bought this for my gifted students to do as a problem solving activity They absolutely LOVE it but it also makes them think in a way that many puzzles dont because of the spatial aspect that changes direction and the function component Of course I go home and play it myself too                 educational and Fun

I love the idea of a game that teaches programming but this game needs a little bit of work Not being able to do recursion calling the same function within itself is frustrating me greatly The game encourages you to find the shortest solution and its hard to do that without recursion Also you can drag commands out of the program as the program is running and it lowers your score for number of commands executed           Needs work

I hesitate to call this a game because its actually programming I love the robot love the puzzles To the critics forget the labels right and left that are given at the beginning of the game pretend youre the robot and use the appropriate turn Also the upgrades are free as you earn coins The aboutface upgrade simplifies things Id like to see a try this level again button that doesnt wipe out your previous solution Id also like to know the max number of commands for earning three stars Puzzle hints you can imbed a subroutine into a subroutine Buy more space in the routine so you can see patterns that can become subroutines I love this game but dont play it just before bed youll dream solutions                 Great app

It is difficult to determine which way the robot will turn with the right and left turn controls Apparently they are not from the robots point of view but some outside observer This is a most illogical logic game Who in their right mind would program a robots right and left as relative to some outside observer and not the robot itself A subroutine employing the left turn command turns the robot right one time its called and left another because the robot has changed the way its facing Lunacy I tried the iPhone free demo and the controls seemed to be correct there so I risked the money to buy the HD iPad game figuring ti would be better Instead its all but unplayable Very frustrating Ive given up playing it until sanity returns and the right and left controls are from the robots POV        Turning Controls Are Illogical

Arent the turn commands reversed The tutorial describes the turns as if they are from the robots perspective turn me left But the turns are actually from your own perspective turn him to my right Otherwise the concept is pretty clear I need the puzzles to get harder a lot faster though           Turns reversed

The concept is almost present as a command based puzzle game But its slow doesnt look very nice and doesnt have some LOGICAL excuse the pun command opportunities The game doesnt let you program loops which means more actions are required than are necessary So yeah final verdict Dont buy There are other better versions of this kind of game        Almost Logical Meh cancel that

Just do a google search for LightBot and you will see The robot graphic changed and the tile colors changed but otherwise identical Hope you all have a license Also in this program recursive routines dont work properly Ie you cant call a function from within itself leading to many routines longer than they need to be        Direct Ripoff of Armor Games Lightbot program

It would be nice if you could show what command is being executed I also encountered a glitch where if you looped function one and two and hit go the button will not change and the robot will not go           One problem

I love the way this game makes me think More levels please I also agree with other reviewers who say better directions or a help menu are needed                 Logical thinking gameI love it

As a programmer I love the logic game It is challenging and creative My kids love it too Two suggestions Even if you complete a level add an option to keep trying without wiping out your program So that you can try for more stars Secondly I believe in getting everything you need to complete all levels I do not like having to purchase additional options to do the tasks needed Especially when there is a 4 price tag already on it The elapse timer is not working and your count of upgrade is incorrect I give it four stars because of these issues Add more worlds and it will even be better              Fun game Good for version 1

Apple wont let me program on the iPad so this fun game is the closest I can come to actually programming Very challenging I love the way you can earn additional programming space or commands                 Excellent

This is a fascinating intellectually challenging game I like that there are no time deadlines and the challenge is logic not how fast can you twitch Its not as hard to learn or play as it may look at first glance But earning those extra stars by finding a more efficient solution can sometimes be quite a challenge Suggestions to the designer for future improvements more worlds and levels slightly better instructions For example the game could make it clearer that upgrades cost coins won in the game not real money some other types of tiles For example tiles that instantly kill the robot or teleport it or slide it some other robot abilities For example the ability to backup a square to leap over a block to fly to the end of the row to blast an obstacle out of the way etc Yes these would make it easier but also a little more exciting let players who reach a certain level have the ability to create and publish new levels fix World 7 Level 1              Cool Game

Help system neededability to review past programming instead of having to remember it                 Replay value great

I would give it a five but it is a bit limited in its overall scope I would like to see access to more functions more objectives more complex programming tasks I like the upgradability as well as the challenge of playing without upgrading testing ones ingenuity Keep working on this game it has enormous potential              Fun game

What a game Simple instructions to get a robot from one place to another The thrill is getting the robot there in the limited steps you are given It makes you think to see what you can do with six instructions Each puzzle is mind consuming to say the least You have to try it I know I really enjoy it Manny from Puerto Rico                 Robo Logic

This is a great puzzle game The main problems I see are the inability to retry a level without losing your previous work sometimes cells will be hidden by stacked blocks in front of them finally I want more levels perhaps a way to make custom levels and share them with other users              Fun game with a few problems
