I thought the price tag would warrant a decent product The matter of fact is this thesaurus is actually much worse than many cheaper or free products Like others said many entries are simply missing e g there is no entry for words like landmark or successful I can t believe there s no refund option but I guess I should have known better     pretty bad 00dost

Try looking up concinnity Roget s International Thesaurus 3rd Edition lists it with multiple synonyms Not this app which feels undercooked awkward and under stocked Hope they improve it         Not Like Book Version Flinkywood

At home I have an actual copy of Roget s Thesaurus and I love it Naturally I wanted to have a digital copy I could take with me anywhere Indispensable for a writer But this thing CRASHES ON ME ALL THE TIME It s not even usable And yes I have rebooted my iPad Please update and work out your bugs I paid not so easily earned money on this         Very disappointed BGK

Tis app was okay as far as content was concerned The UI is pretty ordinary for an app of over 7 The font is really bad and it is not customizable Anything over 2 is too much for this app especially considering that there is actually a free book version         Not a great UI Gautham Akkin

I ve used Roget s for the past 32 years and have learned to appreciate it s completeness and word choice options as it has helped me tremendously through writing I find this app no less complete and helpful Excellent job in transferring the book to this app for the iPad                     True to Form Goonman

I ve been a writer for 25 years poetry fiction etc This is a real poor thesaurus Waste of money The Oxford Writer s Thesaurus is better but I ve seen no really great thesaurus for iPhone I d like to see the complete Synonym Finder as an app THAT S a great thesaurus Even in book form Rogets is not very good     Poor thesaurus TNTz9

I did a ton 6 hours of research before buying AHD4 Dictionary I wanted something was going to server me for the long run With this apps regular updates always making it better and sound clips for every word it has proven to be one of my most used apps This companion Thesaurus was the logical choice as it integrates with the American Heritage Dictionary Fourth Edition If you want an excellent Thesaurus to compliment your AHD4 this app is your option                     This is the companion to one of the most useful apps in the App Store Rob_from_Cali

This application works fine but certainly is not as robust as my desk manual Saying that it s much easier to look up a word rather than leafing through thousands of pages And it s a vast improvement over Apple s built in Thesaurus             An Abridged Roget s gizmette1

I m a writer who spends quite a bit of writing time outside so I was very anxious to find a thesaurus for my Touch At 9 99 I thought this one would fill my needs And not so much It s really rather sparce not many alternatives Maybe I ve just gotten to spoiled by Visual Thesaurus on my home computer but this one just isn t worth it I d really like my money back     Not very useful nonicknameguy

I just bought this app mainly because this company promised that since I already owned American Heritage Dictionary 4 AHD4 I would have the same functionality as if I had instead bought the new Deluxe AHD4 which combines AHD4 Roget II Unfortunately I do not have the same functionality with the seperate apps Similar Yes The same No Just tired of products being misrepresented     Promises promises PC747

This is a good thesaurus but linking to the dictionary exits the app and launched the dictionary takes time and is a bit clumsy It would be much better if the two apps were seemlessly integrated Also the link is accomplished by selecting the heading word hardly obvious At the least there should be a thesaurus button             Needs to be integrated better with dictionary PesterBill

I have the book for Roget s Thesaurus And I love it So when I saw they had an app I didn t hesitate to get it It unfortunatly does not have as many detailed words as the book Some are too simple If you re thinking of getting it for learning don t However if the put in more detailed words I d be much more pleased             Not as good as the book wolfdreamer

I could sure do without the gigantic roman numeral II on the word list search and bookmark pages The main entry for each word is spared that indignity but weighted down with five lines of junky credit and copyright text at the bottom of each page The product seems thinner than the eReader version of Roget s For example the entry for able gives a measly 5 synonyms the eReader version goes on for three pages This app features live links for cross references and a concepts section that categorizes words in a way that could spark ideas These are nice touches and the app seems stable and responsive             Odd layout and skimpy entries but perfectly functional John Corso

This app has a nice interface to help you quickly find and display the information you re looking for without requiring an internet connection There is a scrolling bug that needs fixed If you type 2 or 3 letters e g aba all the words beginning with aba are supposed to be displayed However some are hidden beneath the virtual keyboard and you cannot scroll down to them                 Good reference starz@night
