This app quickly gave me the number of squares profit materials and more Very functional                 Accurate and concise

Not practical for pro roofers cant even plug in a pitch dripedges valley tin or waste Also would like choice of what items show up in final estimate sent to potential client        Needs work

Great tool easier to carry with on steep slopes than a note pad However does need a waste allowance              Roofing bid quick but lacking

By The Orange Im looking forward to using the Roofing Bid from Contractor Tools to redo my roof this summer I was considering hiring somebody else to redo my roof to avoid problems Ive had in the past with not buying enough materials Now that I found this app Im going to do it myself well maybe offer a few frosty beverages and some cash to lend me a hand                 For do it yourselfers

Good idea but if you dont have a way to list all the materials or save a list of the material it does us roofers no good to use this program No pitch no way to save material list no place for tax no place for gl insurance etc not very well thought out Read description and just bought Wont make that mistake again     Should have read the reviews first

Roofing Bid is another promising app from iQuick Tools in the Contractors Tools series It seems to figure out some quick roofing estimates on the fly and be fairly good at it Like all Contractors Tools Series Apps multi tasking support is a little lacking on the iPhone 4 because when you might need to switch to a different calculator to figure something that you might not be able to do in your head or on the App if you do not save the bid you will have to reenter all previous info and that can get tedious and even frustrating at times Overall though it is a good app to add to your toolbox for contracting work and hopefully multitasking will be updated soon              Roofing Bid cheapeasyquick

This is nothing more than a little spreadsheet and it lacks the details a real roofer needs Ex Theres no way I can price out a cedar shake roof that requires 4 or 5 bundles to make a square depending on the grade I buy This only works if it takes 3 bundles What about cap and ridge costs Wheres my tear off charges Dump fee Ice and water charges How much starter strip will I need I couldnt email this to a customer or insurance company If you use this you are screwed Consult an actual roofer for your updates and delete the phony reviews           Lacks details for real work
