Crashes when ever I try to type a user name Does not work
This app hasnt been updated since 2010 and crashes The best out there now is Colloquy It was last updated on 14 Jan and is great and is the only chat client in apple store that has an Ignore command You can have a permanent ignore list of harrassing chatters For me thats a big selling point This app crashes Do not Purchase

This application has a good history as far as iOS mobile clients goes I was recommended it by two different Apple power users as a relatively inexpensive IRC client for mobile use It supposedly uses the screen pretty handles connections efficiently and has a good feel Unfortunately I cant tell how any of these things are handled because the app hasnt been updated in a very long time and Ive had to try some really egregious work arounds to use my purchase Pretty upsetting Unconscionable

A while ago I had this app installed on my third generation iPod touch and it worked beautifully I had no complaints at all But now I have a fourth gen and now the app crashes as soon as I try ti tap the first time using text field I dont know whats wrong but until this is fixed I cannot recommend purchasing this app for anyone using fourth gen iOS tech or later It used to work
I use IRC chat on and off and this app has been my go to for many years now Its got all the functionality one would want and works just fine even on iOS 8 If youre looking for an IRC client I would give this app a go Gets the job done
