Totally frustrating No prompt for plan a new route        Mr bare biker

One of my few reviews Im sorry I purchased this app It crashes constantly and does not take into account walking trails at all Youre better off just studying the built in Google map prior to your runbike     Not Good

This is exactly the app I need for planning bike routes without lugging around a laptop However it crashes about 75 of the time that a pin is added or removed and it also crashes frequently when scrubbing along the elevation chart I hope my purchase helps to fund some bugfixes because this has the potential to be a great app for bike traveling           Very useful but very crashy

Really disappointing I left this app because it was so buggy and difficult to use With bike routes now gone from Apples own app I had reason to return to it It hasnt improved with age For one it doesnt accept pasted in addresses I tried numerous times to paste in addresses from my address book and end up with points in Alabama I live and ride in California For another while it looks like theres a way to change a route by adding points along the way that doesnt work Instead the app changes the start point or worse puts the added point at the end as if I were going to go past my end point and then ride back In the list mode while editing a route theres no way to change the order of points In the current view once youve left editing theres no way to go back without going back up one level and then back down to make the edit button reappear If youve done a route in an iPad more convenient because its bigger or better still on a Mac there appears to be no way to export the route to your iPhone where youd use it riding Adding a point is quite difficult because your finger blocks your view of where you want the point to be and when you do take your finger away you end up in the wrong place Really difficult to get your point in exactly the right location FWIW I did eventually make the route but only by adding points as end points from the starting point For futures itd be nice if the app did turn by turn instructions based on your location along a route while letting you play music in the background Im really sorry to be so tough on this app because with bike routes now gone from Apples own mapping app theres a crying need even if it does use Googles apis     Very buggy frustrating

Ive been looking for something like this for a while and I found it in this app I did not experience the issues mentioned here with crashes Maybe its all fixed with the new version I created several complicated bike routes without an issue There is a limit on the number of pins dropped but I was able to easily go back and remove the unnecessary ones and complete my route I also suggested to them adding an Undo button that could make it a bit easier If you are looking for an App that will help you figure out routes tell you milage and elevation then this will be your friend If you are expecting much more then look elsewhere At 099 it a lot for your money                 Great App

With a limited number of pins its too difficult to plan a route more than a few miles long since it always tries to route you somewhere you dont want to go if you dont put the pins really close together     Not functional for designing complex routes

Ive been looking for an app that functioned as well as good as this one Finally Ive got an app that does it all                 Better than any others

initially I was in love it was so perfect for the first two rides then as I was trying to map my next route it wouldnt stay open long enough to accomplish anything I was hopeful that an update was coming soon but no I tried it again but it is hit and miss mostly miss If this app did everything it promised it would be amazing Im still hopeful that an update that fixes everything is in the works Until then save yourself the time money and frustration     great start but ends with a crash

The idea is good but its the worst app Ive ever used Difficult to use crashes alot dont waste ur money     Rip off not worth 05

I am using this app as I bike across the USA I am not following any predetermined route so this app has been extremely helpful accurate and it works I use it every single day and often I wish I had found this app before it changed everything I have not seen any other app do this but it would be incredible if it could incorporate weather and specially wind conditions Now that would be the only app I use As far as the bad reviews I have not had a single problem with it not working or giving me wrong directions You should always use common sense and not blindly follow any directions without double checking                 Excellent app

Previously I used this app mainly for planning my bike routes But now with the new list view I will be using it to plan out my driving routes more often The only thing I still wish to be added It would make it so much easier if you could edit route addresses by dragging to change the order that theyre in its so tedious having to delete and retype them But A GREAT app none the less I know a lot of people who would pay big for these features on a gps BUY IT You cant go wrong for the price              Love The Update 130

I have a route that zig zags through neighborhood streets Ive always wanted to know the exact mileage of the route Unfortunately this app is limited to only 8 stops which is LAME I need a minimum of 20 stops to route the zig zag path Adding the stops could be a touch more intuitive If the app has more stops my rating will increase        Not enough pins

This app is stable and works as advertised for me It is the only app that allows me to plan multisegment runs and rides and get distances and elevations that I have found The interface takes a little getting used to but overall its a well done piece of software                 Surprised by all the negative reviews

Does what the developer claims but 1 You are limited to a small number of pins to identify your route 2 It can be difficult to force your route onto a certain road or trail 3 The AI creates odd loops and out and back route selections The app has some great features too One of my favorites is the altitude viewer You create your route the switch the statistics view to altitude and you can scroll through your route and see the altitude at any point both numerically and graphically           Good with some limitations

Ive had this app for a while because they kept promising an update Finally with this one it worked Previously it would crash and just not do anything Now it does exactly what it says Could use some more features its an awesome concept              Now that its been updated

I wonder how people using this app who wrote i love it First of all there is no option to create straight line like on demo pictures and app video Secondly there is no way to customize your route the way you want From A to B straight route this app create zig zags and backward lines There is no chance to create your route on the streets just like you want to     Dissapointed

Gives a bike route but not to the destination I put in eg 29th when I wrote 21st There has to be something better        Very poor design

An app I have looking for Does what it claims Have not experienced crashing or slow route updates I was able to place 8 rather than 7 intermediate route pins I will be using this app in planning RV trips Suggested improvements 1 Altitude window autoscale to trip min max elevations 2 Altitude windowTrip window status provide an option to indicate actual elevation in place of cumulative climb elevation                 Works Perfectly For Me

I like letting the wind dictate my route to keep things fresh I dont always have access to a computer when I finally have time to map out the nextdays ride and so I was in need of an app I could use from my phone Though quirky this app has been a great solution One item of note I dont have the crashing issues others seem to have              Great solution

We are over the road truck drivers and tis app is just what we have been looking for When we are home or when dispatch sends us a load and wants to know if we can accept it this is perfect to get an idea of the route and actual miles not the paid miles so we can get a quick idea of actual travel time We have both the iPad 1 and an older 3Gs iPhone and no crashes here Thanks MC                 Great App

This app has potential but it keeps crashing and not responding when i put a third option in on my route        It could be good but

but is way too inconsistent it works great sometimes and horrible at other times Ive found it to cause more frustration than help I would not recommend this to a friend fix the address inputs to work as nicely as the default maps app also fix the bug that makes it crash when finding an address     has potential

I started using this and spent the first hour cursing it as it did not seem to work the way I thought it should Once I backed up and tried it again it works perfect It DOES TAKE PATIENCE and a user with some common sense A few help features would probably eliminate most of the unwarranted negative reviews I exported my routes to Cyclemeter and now have my routes ready to go I do not buy many apps but this and Cyclemeter work perfect for any cyclist wanting to lay out routes              Works really well

Useful great idea but when I finished my route and sent it to cyclemeter as a gpx file it reversed the ride and did nor show elevation Not even in program I had to delete and reinstall because it kept on crashing when I first attempted it I will keep as I was actually able to plan a route Even though frustrated at times By the way hold down your finger on Map for the option to drag and drop new pins     Needs work

This app rocks Its easy to use and fairly intuitive Creating a route is as easy as dropping pins at road junctures I have two suggestions which if fulfilled would bump my rating to 5 stars 1 adjust the altitude scale to fit that of the ride thus exposing the detail currently too compressed with unused space on the low end and 2 display the current elevation when scrolling over the altitude profile currently shows only cumulative election gain Asis this app is well worth the price              Sweet

Downloaded the app to plan my jogging routes The app does a good job of showing the distance and elevation However it is slow and frequently crashes Wait for the update The app has been updated but still Has problems Dont always load saved routes and map updates are very slow The iPhone gets really warm while the app is active probably an indication of high utilization and high battery consumption     Good intentions but slow

Wow this crashes ALOT Ive only downloaded it just today But I had to reopen this app every time I placed a pin Then it would crash every time I would move a pin The route I tried to plan had about 5 turns before I gave up and stopped changing the course Besides the crashing each time I placed a pin the map would jump to the middle of an ocean It was after I touched the button for my current location that it would crash So Im disappointed that this doesnt work The developers have my cash and I have a substandard product I will update this if any of this changes     Crashes

131 crashes on just about every time I try to plan a route But worst of all is their lack of attention to customers reporting issues and suggestions ie app does not allow for searching Had potential at first but over time the app kept getting worse     Needs tons of work

This app does not allow one to create a route as advertised The app creates unusual back and forth routes rather than allowing one to create a custom loop I deleted it save your money     Disappointing

Freezes up gps function led me to the opposite side of the country despite a simple copy and paste address from original contact aesthetically it looks horrible I couldve spent my 99 on a quality app not even bike related Please consider something else     The worst app known to man

This app was good when I first bought it but now its great Once you know it the interface works well for manipulating the directions Way more useful than the builtin Maps app for cyclists because of altitude and multiple destinations features Still its a good supplement to the Maps app                 Better every upgrade

The altitude function is greatjust helped me to make the right decision for a 45mile ride Thank you Please make an ipad version                 Works like a charm for me
