Rowmote: Remote Control for Mac and Apple TV

I love it particularly when am making a presentation easy to move from one slide to another Also when listening to music it is easy to move forward rewind increasedecrease volume and all sorts of features                 Great App

I liked so much I got the pro version I havent read the reviews in a long time although Im sure plenty is repeated Ill say what might not have been said Im sorry typed Zoom function I use this a lot to look at movie files on tv I zoom in so I can actually read the titles to choose which movie I want to watch Then zoom back out Many edits to app ie Dark mode great at nite Physical volume buttons can be used to adjust app volume vlc volume I use portrait orientation of phone as remote landscape mode as trackpad Many more Notification This is a wifi based app which means for everything to work properly you must have everything phone being used with this app computer being controlled for example connected to the same network wifi for it to work Also you must have decent network connection If you dont have a great connection of wireless to to router there can be an easy fix For instance I had a crappy connection to my room I finally pulled my router out from inside my homemade cinder block and wood tv stand bam instant great connection Ive tried few of these remote apps this one is by far the best one for simplicity after u finally get all your personal adjustments done ease of use I believe there is a free version at least there was when I first checked it out get it If you like although you want more options or modify the way it performs pay the 5 bucks for the pro version on top of the money u waisted reading this review                 It works

Worst app ever     How do I get a refund

I love this app I find it cool to use when I feel like using my phone to type on my computer Its extremely convenient for my lazy tendencies Ive gotta say that I love messing with someone whenever they use my computer All in all I believe that Rowmote is completely worth it                 Amazing App

I guess I will buy the paid version now but they are real jerks to take away the keypad and everything basically except volume control The app disappeared from my iPad and when I reinstalled it all of those features were gone I cannot let you download the FREE version without knowing that it no longer does ANYTHING sceptic control volume     They removed everything from the free version

Bought this app to work with my Apple TV since pics clearly show you can use it for your Apple TV But it only works if your Apple TV is jail breaked Should really include that in the description 99 wasted     Will not work with 2nd gen Apple TV

Wish this worked with Apple TV when I loose my remote which is all the time this app would really save me           No Apple TV support

All I wanted was a simple remote for my iMac 5k Works flawlessly and very intuitive Simple set up too Works great with my Plex software                 Just what I needed

It is not that the item doesnt function as expected it is that it doesnt function at all I have a Macbook Pro and a IPhone 5S all updated with the newest os I am computer savvy work with computers and this app doesnt work Both the phone and the computer were on the same network I downloaded the program they told me to download and it just doesnt work It either opened up and crashed immediately or would load slowly and then not find the computer I have never had this experience with an app before It is not a lot of money but the experience was bad enough that I am truly truly frustrated     Doesnt work AT ALL

Stays connected but loses it temporarily every 5 seconds or so Very annoying     Disconnects every few seconds

It never worked The app directed the user to download a software in a website Very user unfriendly So far it has not worked Bottom line do not purchase this app I wish I had heeded the advice of other reviews prior to purchasing myself     The app does not work

This app is indispensable The simplicity of installing a helper app that makes this close to zero configuration is just perfect I use it with plex and itunes alike works like a charm While in os x I can use mouse and keyboard without any hassle at all saves a ton of frustration when I dont have to find the hw when needed once in a while I have been using this app for a few years and while os updates has broken it now and then dev always fixes it asap                 Fantastic

The documentation is minimal at best so when trying to authenticate the remote to your computer good luck You push the connection button get a prompt for some numbers of some kind Seems they would be numbers to type in on your keyboard like authenticating a bluetooth connection etc but nope To no avail I give up     Authentication virtually impossible

It will not communicate with my Apple TV properly Itll work like once but then theres a big long delay after that So I keep pushing buttons because Im tired of waiting then suddenly all button pushes go through at once Then I have no idea how things that are playing even got started so I push MENU or something Then we start all over again with the big long delay then the sudden rush of button pushes Im done Dont like this app     Does not work
