When entering a decimal point as the first enter after a calculation the stack is NOT lifted this is a real BIG bug Bug dot
Too much space is wasted just to display the left and right frames of the original HP25 May I suggest that both borders and the black stripe below the digital display are removed so that the keys can be slightly enlarged Please at least offer this as an option Just a humble suggestion
This and the hp 16 were my favorite calculators Got me through Berkeley engineering school Even with the bugs I love it Nice work Now if I could only find a nice hp 16c Brings back memories
While this calculator app has some bugs it also has some bonus features that were not on the original HP25 A couple of bugs I found include 1 Fix does not work properly App defaults to fix 3 and even after you do a fix 4 the display doesnt change until you perform another function and if you switch between apps and switch back it reverts to 3 decimal places regardless of how you set fix 2 Some numbers in the stack seem to change when you switch apps On the plus side this app adds to the original 1 Mean xbar and standard deviation give results for both X and Y original only did same for X 2 Additional functions include correlation coefficient r and slope and intercept for X Y mb which is useful in calculating linear regression or linear estimate 3 The Sigma accumulation function sums the values of Ysquared in register 8 so that you get the full 6 stat registers that later HP calculators included This is a nice Addition that is undocumented If the developer can fix the bugs and make this calculator work more smoothly it will be a very nice app There are two other apps that emulate the popular HP25 that are very good only this one is free Buggy but has potential
