As a person who has successfully repaired several xbox 360s I can tell you that the information contained in this app is bogus While the kit the author sells is very likely a convenient collection of necessary supplies for the popular xbrace mod the app makes no mention of diagnostic coding absolutely essential for a proper repair Furthermore step 9 advises the reader to intentionally overheat the xbox by running the system without the cooling fans attached to the motherboard This is a glorified version of the towel trick and will not heat the components properly for the necessary controlled reflowing of ramsouthbridgeCPUgpu solder connections This advice is foolhardy at best These steps may get you gaming again but it wont be for long For a more appropriate permanent solution code the failure mode of the xbox and reflow the appropriate components BEFORE applying this authors magic kit Theres no quick and easy fixall Do the research for yourself and not only will you understand the failure better than this author your chances stand to improve considerably over the lastditch approach he proposes Do not follow these instructions
