I ve been using PDFPen for years But I got tired of their extortionate 40 upgrades When my version stopped working in OS X Mavericks I jumped ship For 2 99 RunePDF is exactly what I was looking for Sure it s a little rough around the edges but it gets the job done People PDF is NOT an editable format It s an image wrapper with some dynamic object capabilility If you scan in a paper document you think RunePDF is going to magically make it all editable turning bitmapped pixels into dynamic objects NOPE There is no such thing as a PDF editor in the sense that you 1 star reviewers are expecting There are a lot of products that will try to OCR optical charicter recognize a bitmap document so you can search and select text The OCR tech is what you re paying 50 for I don t need it for filling out forms and eSigning documents And even OCR doesn t come CLOSE to re creating a full bitmap document in a dynamically fully editable document format I d give RunePDF 4 starts but I m adding another start just to counter balance all you 1 star neophites                     Performs as advertised 1 star reviewers are ignorant of PDF tech Lamperti

I had my doubts about this app because of the price and the little reviews it had but if you are just looking for a very simple and to the point app where you can draw type and fill out PDF files then this is it Great app bravo Does just what it says and it is super easy to use                     Awesome App Manny_El_Guapo

What the developer doesn t tell you is the first thing you see in the meager Help that comes with the app That is you CANNOT edit or delete any existing objects in the PDF file You can ONLY add shapes and text over the existing document So why doesn t the devloper state that clearly in the product description The reason is obvious I think because nobody wou d purchase it That app close to useless for most users Even the app s name is misleading PDF Editor Not even close if you cannot edit anything in the existing document Caveat emptor     Close to useless and this is NOT an editor Flyonzewall

I wasted almost 10 on Quick PDF before I downloaded this one THis is the perfect program for typing text into PDF docs Just click wherever you want to type and start typing I have used PDFILL on Windows and I think this one works better                     Perfect KapurK

I needed a way to digitally sign PDFs while away from the office This does the trick The user interface is not the most intuitive but it s so simple that it doesn t take long to learn and works just fine You can save the modified files in the runepdf format for additional editing or just export a new pdf with your changes Works great for me                 Basic Editor mechapreneur

Bought this because of the advertised flexibility and low proce It is not worth it even if it was given away for freee Rune PDF PDF Editor is complete false labeling It isw not a PDF editor Any product cannot be exported as a PDF document and can ONLY be opende and read by Rune PDF The Palette is poorly formatted It is too dark to read or even see half the icons on it The menu commands are not very intuitive and lack full short key support There is no copy paste to facilitate work flow If you want to waiste your money on this program that will only draw black ovals and rectangles use only black text has no documentation and produces a product document runepdf that can NOT be oppened by any other PDF viewer than this RunePDF is for you     Terrible product Tall Warrior

This is the most worthless app I have bought it does not allow you to edit the doc just add to it It does not tell you that tell you buy it then the very first thing it tells you in the help is it cannot change the current doc worthless they should give me my money back     Not a editor rfde55

This app is great You can insert text boxes anywhere on a pdf so it s great for filling out forms that don t have the pre existing spaces to fill in info Also a lot of people are mentioning that there s no undo button which is true BUT all you need to do is use the marquee cursor tool to select whatever you want to delete e g a check mark text box and then hit delete Problem solved Overall it s wonderful                     Awesome Queenie DS

It s an ok app but the undo feature doesn t work and there is no eraser Soooooooooo frustrating I had to recreate my document numerous times to get it right Also for it s simplicity it s overpriced         No Undo Thisdooood

I needed to change some wording in a PDF Nothing complicated there just exchanging some characters It would not even select the text It will place new text but that s it This is NOT a real PDF editor     Editor Not really Kenninghouse

It s advertised as a PDF editor I wanted to use it to fill out a PDF job application it is impossible to use for that purpose It might be nice if there were instructions but there are none The help file just goves you a few tips does not tell you how to use this I want a refund     Doesn t work LarryNH

If you BOTHER to READ the desciption you will understand exactly what this app does and I must say it does it brilliantly It s get for annotating my college work i ve only had it two days and I ve already used it 8 times I have started my own little business to fund college and it requires filling out many contracts and this software makes it so so so easy infact the easiest I have found to add text and to quickly add your signature to a document you can insert and image and easily move it anywhere on the document or you can even write your signature if you haven t got an image on you using the pen tool Really worth 4 99 would recommend to anyone                     Brilliant app great for college and contracts Bobisback-backagain

After setting up and configuring my pdf text and notes the program exports the text out of alignment by approx one line too low It is unusable as is I didn t see any way to fix this in the software         Alignment problem lonewolfdj

Too few features in this app to make it worthwhile A great feature would be the ability to insert a blank page into a PDF that is then editable The font controls are rudimentary and the brush tool for drawing has no cusomization for color or thickness I simply wanted to insert an image into a PDF to act as front cover well no easy task with this app I had to overlay the image over an existing page and then use another application to move the page to the top of the stack This is not a true PDF editor at best it can be used to annotate an existing PDF Not worth 2 99 find a better app for PDF editing     Poor PDF editing functionality manzanamala
