Well this is a funny little app but the pixely graphics and the unusual concept motivated me to download it It is exactly what it says it is a very random board game and a fantasy name generator An odd combination but the whole package is rather charming The board game does not seem very interesting though I confess I only made it through a few minutes perhaps more play would reveal some more depth It is similar to Talisman or other very random roll and move adventure games In those games the fun is almost entirely generated by the group of people you re playing with Without that it s just an exercise in brain free virtual rolling The whole system is also quite opaque There is a very welcome explanation in the app but spaces on the board provide no indication of the sorts of events they hide and the battles just sort of happen mostly automatically I d be interested in seeing if this evolves into something more interesting in the future though because it s all very cute The name generator is simple but I could certainly see this being a nice creativity kickstarter for someone I suspect I ll use it occasionally Perhaps not as a direct source of names but as a way to get the ol creative juices flowing Overall an unusual app with fun graphics and an interesting concept I m not sure how much use it will get in the immediate future but it does seem like there is potential here so I ll be following along with any updates             A strange but charming little app walkie1984
