I really enjoy reading the articles I ve been reading Salon for years I am more than a little tired of seeing Ann Coulters face everytime I open the app though The most read stories have remained the same since June Unfortunately the most read story at the time was a story about her defending Trump as not being a racist That got old a long time ago If you could correct this I would gladly give you 5 stars         Good news app bad optics Debowozoe

I love this app giving 4 stars BUT I d gladly give it 5 stars if they fixed ONE thing I ve just read a story so I scroll back up to top looking for arrow in top left corner that s basically the back button to get me back to section I got story from but sometimes it s not there and I ve tried all kinds of things to make it appear on my iPhone 6 but most of time it doesn t appear so I close app double click on what I have open and delete open apps then go back to Salon Hope above makes sense but Cliffnotes version is make the back arrow automatically appear when scrolling back up to top of page                 Great news app but Thedoctordave

Settings like text size are not saved permanently Sometimes lost between sessions Sometimes lost only if app crashes Oh app crashes Auto disappearance of button sometimes fails as you scroll down It remains sitting at the top Worse auto reappearance of sometimes fails when you scroll up as it used to in very old versions of this app I found the only way to get back is to load a link to some other story then hit and then again as the back button reappears I m not using any new features I only know basic functionality is now very unreliable The basic program has become unstable Salon has never been usable on iOS Safari It hangs then reloads This app is all site readers have Sad     I reinstalled Many bugs Professor Media

Salon has long been my favorite website The first 40 minutes of my day are spent browsing it in bed before I do anything else I appreciate all of the writers different perspectives and Salon s attention to detail when it comes to non political events such as the passing of Phife I have dozens of accolades and one critique Today I opened the app and the first 7 or 8 headlines had Trump s name in them I ve often read on Salon about the over saturated media coverage of Trump and how it fuels his campaign Even though these articles are constructive and need to be written it s becoming a pattern of nothing but Trump pieces as the first handful of articles I see on the Salon app It s too much Trump Please don t fall in line with the rest of the media Other than that you guys are amazing I m thankful Salon and its talented writers exist                     Too much Trump All else is perfect Ani gza

Not sure why the update of the Salon app killed the program and why there s no info on the App Store or within the app on what s wrong or how to fix it But simply deleting and reinstalling the app works fine Salon should be doing a much better job managing this and communicating what and how they screwed up But at least it DOES work                 Just reinstall and all s fine MikeK2008
