Samsung Mobile Print

No problems at all on my iphone                 Works just fine

Prints to my ml2160 fine but if I try to send to my clp310 its says print completed but the printer never wakes up           Fails on my clp310

Works on my old iPad running 51 Doesnt work on my new mini running 71 ML1630 printer     Big Disappointment

This worked for me once I found the secret decoder ring I wanted to print from Dropbox I used the Open In icon Within that function was the icon for the Samsung print app I touched the icon and presto the document was entered into the apps print cue The document then printed with no problems It was a very frustrating and time consuming experience to discover how to use the app The app is not intuitive to my way of thinking The Epson print app is much easier to use I dont think it would harm Samsung to include short simple instructions on how to use the app I give this three stars it works but finding the way to make it work is frustrating           I got it to work

This app worked for me when I used it so I decided to write a review to encourage people to at least try it Im using the Samsung ML2165W which is supported according to the description The first time I used it I was a little confused since the prin to button wasnt lit but after selecting the printer manuallyI was able to get it to work Obviously some other reviews had problems but I didntt so I am going to say this app is a hit or miss Hopefully more people will use this app and review it either giving it a poor or positive review Thats the only way to encourage samsung to actually try to improve the app              Hit or miss

I got it configured pretty easily App works but prints the page really small        Print size

Conflicts with iPad AirPrint Emails would still print from AirPrint but PDFs had to go through this app Ended up deleting to keep things simple     AirPrint fighter

The Samsung printer app doesnt work on the iPad iOS7 You need to use a printer that is iPad compatible like Epson The Samsung printers are proprietary and work best with Samsung products like the Note 3 or the Galaxy S4 Case in point I can print a photo from the iPad to an Epson printer but need to transfer the photo to a Samsung Galaxy S4 to then print to a Samsung printer Its all about Hate Wars between two immature giant global corporations that only can get along by losing in class action lawsuits     Samsung and Apple Hate Wars

I had a little difficulty setting up because my iPhone iPhone 4iOS 7 or iPad air gen 4 couldnt find my printer I had to manually enter info When adding a printer manually I have SCX3400 series you will need IP address and Port To find these Power on your printer Press and hold the stopclear button for about 4 second or until the status LED light blinks fast Release the button once it blinks faster and the network configuration report should print Your info should be under the bold header TCPIPv4 Information Search and add your printer Same for iPad Note if you hold the butt too short about 2 seconds it will only print a Prints Configuration Report Hold too long about 6 seconds and a Supplied Information Report will print If the IP address on the Network Config Report shows 19200192 then the printer has not been initially connected to the network                 Once you find the info

Worked great for me on the first try integrating seamlessly with the iPhone Mail app Im guessing many of the negative reviews are actually due to a wifi issue or other problems unrelated to the app itself                 works perfectly

Quick fix Unplug printer for a few minutes and then plug back in My app was not working for the longest time I updated my software for my printer and at last it worked I used it for a month or two and then went to print again and it couldnt find my printer Unplugged the printer and plugged it back in Its working perfectly again              Finely fixed it

When I tried to use this application it prompted me for a password What password There doesnt seem to be any way to find that out The user interface is confusing I have to choose the device but since when is a document a device This is really messed up Not being clairvoyant I cant use this app     Im completely stymied

This app has good features and works well printing etc but only when itll find the printer Ive got a 640 via wireless network and to get the app to see the printer I have to unplugreplug the printer Then itll be available and print in color All other laptops see the printer all the time just fine so it appears as the app is the issue     Great features if itd find the printer

No instructions what so ever But I looked on my iPad settings networks and saw a device called Portthru I Googled it and the response was its a Samsung printer I added it and after rebooting the app can find it The printer if I try to print from email it wants passwords which aint gonna happen but I can print screen and then print from my photos To do that click on the bent arrow at the top of the screen and it is the bottom option The only downside is I have to disconnect then reconnect to my basic wifi it seems to only be capable of connecting to one at a time Thats okay if its something important I just email it to myself and print from my desktop For free its okay A wise tech support guy once told mepretend its a game and they are hiding it from you your goal is to look everywhere to find it           Not bad so far

It the little things in life that bother us Like getting a new printer that would work from all your devices and my Samsung printer did until the last update Now it will only work from my I Mac and my Pcs none all of my Mobil devices will work iPad iPhones both 5 and 6 also have a surface what gives I always thats Samsung supported the products the make not true Makes my think about not buying the bigger ones Like TV or appliances     Wow is this how Samsung supports its products

First off let me start by mentioning that I downloaded this app because I had to replace my dead Samsung laser printer Now understand these lower price models probably have a life expectancy of a few years mine lasted at least 10 without issues when it failed it just wasnt worth fixing and I wanted new technology OK bought a new 100 model love it Downloaded this app and it works flawlessly with my Samsung tablet my iPad what more could I ask for Not sure why there are 1star reviews prints from tablets scans to tablets scans 2 sided more LOVE IT Thanks Samsung your products rock                 Samsung Awesome printer and App

This app is like a good Swiss army knife for those who understand how to use it Like most I noted the performance hiccups after IOS 8 The problem has been resolved Samsung released firmware updates for their printers that users should download from the Samsung Support site                 Great tool
