Sanskrit Primer

This is a wonderful app I have just started using it and I see how east it makes it to quickly flip and learn the mother of all languages One feature Id like to be added is a search bar to be able to search for anything I know its difficult to implement that given that the text is in different languages but it can start off with English Thanks for this one                 Great tribute to the mother of all languages

I was looking for an app that would help me with my sanskrit studies but this one is NOT a help The audible for this app really does sound like a 3 year old and you cant hear much difference between one vowel to the next Granted the differences are subtle but not so subtle that you shouldnt be able to hear it Aside from that the vowels arent even being pronounced correctly Dont waste your money on this app until the creators actually get a proper linguist to recite the Sanskrit vowels and consonants the way they should sound        Horrible pronounciation

Even the teacher will find this as an accurate quick reference tool                 A must for any Sanskrit student

This is an excellent app for anyone wanting to get started with and get the basics down of Sanskrit Its obvious the developer spent countless hours formulating the audio and text Very detailed The audio clips and the appendix are truly handy and makes it so much easier to use this as a ready reference There is nothing like this out there Great job                 Superb

Just love the app I studied Sanskrit from my high school until college Though I still understand the language and the basic mechanics of it I had forgotten quite a bit of the nuances and this app did a wonderful job of reminding me all of that I would love to see another app that covers the topics from where this app ends                 Excellent app

A single chapter on the alphabet with neither attention paid separately to each letter nor practice with recognition and pronounciation is insufficient Also the audio quality is very poor Once Ive learned to read write and pronounce devanagari elsewhere I expect the remaining chapters of this ebook will be helpful For now Im going back to the Sanskrit Lessons apps by Aimkara Other languages such as Nepali also use the devanagari script        Rename it Sanskrit for Hindi speakers

absolutely the WORST thing I have purchased from iTunes Now that I have it what in the heck do I do with it Its nothings but a bunch of verbage Absolutely NOTHING that teaches you Sanskrit DONT BUY IT     Sanskrit primer

This is a fantastic application I have taught Sanskrit to yoga students and others all around the US and Europe and I would have loved to have this app when I was first studying Even now I find it to be an incredibly valuable app It goes from simple understanding of the alphabet through all the most important information of noun declensions verb conjugations prefix suffix indeclinables even many basic conversational sentences If youre not sure of the pronunciation it even has audio for that I would HIGHLY recommend this application for ANYONE interested in Sanskrit I was totally amazed by the amount and depth of information Literally hundreds of pages Even basic vocabulary pages and much much more Well worth 10 times the price                 Sanskrit Teacher
