Norsat , brings SatelliteLocator with a number of new features along with the usual bug fixes. SatelliteLocator app has been update to version 1.1 with several major changes and improvements. App release that improves performance, provides several new options.

If you are iPhone and iPad owner,you now can download SatelliteLocator for free from Apple Store. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 0.2 MB to download. The new SatelliteLocator app version 1.1 has been updated on 2014-11-23. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I open up the app and no satellites will not come up when I point phone into the sky The sats are SW to where I am Do you have to have a clear LOS for the sats to come up At this point I give the app a 1star due to this issue Cant find satellites

I have referred this app to many others Surprisingtome how accurate it is It uses a database of magnetic declination change over time That worldwide database is updated something like every 10 years or so I have been told I have also been told we are currently in last or next to last year before being updated so is off a few degrees but after getting used to how it is off you can snake a link thru tough spots Every satellite tech ought to have this tool Maybe only come in handy a couple times a year for you but you got it Great App

Called company said it will not work with the new ISO 7 update Also they have no plans on making it compatible with it Does not work with iPhone ISO 7

U downloaded the App and it remained frozen in negative 1 The arc never showed up and azim elevation and tilt remained at zero I finally deleted it I wish I could rate it lower than 1 star Not worth the download time Piece if Junk

Fantastic app when it works which it does most of the time Satellites will disappear completely sometimes or disappear the reappear quickly When it starts acting wonky close kill the app running in the background then reopen Seems to work after that Great app but buggy

Am using on iPhone 5c running IOS8 with no problems Very handy indeed One of our data packages in Asia is changing to a new bird and this app honed right in on the new beam You must make changes by going into settings and scroll down to this app Otherwise you will go crazy trying to figure out why it is not working Be sure to turn permissions off when done This app runs continuously in the background gobbling up cellular data allotment otherwise Works as promised

Good app Used it to install an Exede system that I probably wouldnt have found line of sight without the app In the past I would use Satellite AR on the Google Play store and this seems to work as well if not better Best free satellite finder app on the App Store Installer

Now worth spending 10 seconds of you time Waste of megabytes

Other dish align apps are great for giving you the elevationskewetc but they dont allow you to see where the satellite hangs in the sky This app really helped me finetune my alignment because it showed me how the two satellites of my provider related to each other in space I was able to increase my signal strength by 15 Great app Great for visualizing satellite position

Location services needs to be set to Always While Using the App not an option Also cannot save an additional satellite to the almanac Long press on screen opens the almanac Added 119W Orbital Position 1190 and saved Can see 119W on arc Can go back to the almanac and see the additional satellite however if I close the app and open the additional satellite is not in the almanac ie not saved Verified Restore almanac on next launch is Off in settings Have to add the satellites I am looking for 110W 119W 129W each time I use the app Only takes a minute but would be nice if fixed May be an iOS 8 issue Doesnt look like the app has been updated since iOS 7 Works fine but
