When I bought Saxotechnic I had high expectations The description seemed to make sense and there seemed to be value in this app When I purchased it I spent some time reading and not playing I just sort of clicked around and explored the app Honestly it did not seem like much at first It seemed like there was not too much to the App and it seemed too briefat first Then I took out my horn and started to play the exercises Ive been playing for almost 30 minutes straight and decided to stop for a moment to write this review At first glance this may seem like theres not much to it but after spending some time playing the exercises transposing in your mind instead of paper too I think youll find the value here A lots of alternate fingerings for all ranges of your horn are included The exercises will have your mind thinking about new ways to approach soloing I havent tried soloing with what Ive worked on during this short period of time but I can assure you that new ideas keep popping into my mind for new ways to play So dont judge an App by its cover I had never heard of Ambrose Charron until yesterday when I stumbled upon this App looking for something new Ive only tried the finger technique exercises thus far but I can see that hes definitely onto something here A fresh approach for me I originally thought 799 was a bit high for an App but now that Ive gotten a taste of whats in store and what I can learn from this I believe this was an excellent buy Now back to the woodshed With plenty to work on with this Saxotechnic App Dont judge an App by its cover
