I agree with those that failed to have a multiple instrument recording from the mic option and even if the track of interest is much higher in the mix I found it could not properly transcribe the piece I then just played it on my violin and it did great The only mistakes were really as a result of my poor playing and even those were very easy to fix with the editing tools which are fantastic If your looking for a way to get the music on paper for something you can play by ear then this thing is great but it has a way to go before it ll be ready for song by mic transcription                 It s great for transcribing what you play on an instrument jimmypagelicks

I was hoping to get an app where they translated a recording into music I have an old recording of an improv piece I did on the piano I was hoping this app would retrieve the lost notes This app was very glitchy it couldn t even translate chords and when I recorded separate notes it even got those wrong along with the timing It also complained a lot about background noises that weren t existent     Not entirely impressed DancingTurtles

I read a review of this app that was kinda harsh This app pick up single notes from your guitar and turns them into notation How cool is that There are some bugs but with updates I only see this app getting better Definitely worth it                 Good Start Rokinp

Horrible app Couldn t take down the simplest of notes from an in tune piano It literally didn t get a single note right I even tried hitting 10 middle C s in a row slowly and evenly it recorded a hodgepodge of different notes of different lengths I was in a perfectly quiet room It gave me every error message possible like too short to loud too quiet too much noise in the room Wish there was a way to at least input your own notes onto the staff Sure wish I hadn t wasted the Don t bother with this     Worthless app qbj

It s only going to work as well as the input it gets I am able to make nearly perfect scores using concertina at medium speed                     It works 1ndea

I tried the app by singing a few melodies Some turned out pretty good others not at all It is very inconsistent which is strange Unfortunately you can t quantize your performance The app s editing tools are very confusing They are of no use to me I also have the Mac version of the app which is a little better I would not recommend this app if you just want to use it to not forget your musical ideas For that you are better off using a recorder app             No quantization capabilities Tgjazz

I purchased this app several months ago and had to delete it to make space In the process I forgot my password Now I m ready to use it again the system will not allow me to reset my password I contacted the devs who initially said they could not find me in their database They later said I was in the database but they were experiencing some problems on their end and would contact me when they figured out what the problem was I m still waiting In the meantime I m not able to use the app         Cannot Reset Password Cannot Use App Focusking

This app is a God send I am one of those people who dabbles in music as a hobby with little time and patience for learning theory BEFORE I get to making something This app allows me to quickly get notation for the melodies or bass lines that pop into my head It s very accurate but it is limited by your singing humming ability In any event this rounds out what I need ScoreCloud to get melodies PolyChord to figure out nice chord progressions and AudioBus to tie all my audio goodness on my iPad together Kudos to the designers and creator this WONDERFUL idea 1000 stars                     What I ve Been Waiting For uniqpoet

It works This app would be far more useful with some export functionality As far as printing a screen shot converted to a PDF is easy enough It would be nice to set a time signature key and tempo and get a count off before recording Actually setting those things before recording seems like it would make less work for the app I just recorded 12 measures of 4 4 and the app made it 8 measures of 6 4 An understandable mistake for a machine that wants to hear It was easy to fix but setting the time before recording would be even easier It did get the key right though what I played was diatonic major                 Nice Jasbas
