I have read two of Kelbys three digital photography books and they are outstanding Clear easy to implement useful tips for the beginner and intermediate to pro photographer His technique of showing the shot and breaking down how he did it is very productive The narrative is fun not dry 10 for pro instruction on lighting is a deal the price of some digital photography magazines Downloading the app now Cant wait Will update after using the app Kelby makes it simple

This is one of my favorite and most often referenced photography tools on the iPad Scott Kelby is an excellent teacher and I wish hed publish more of these video tutorials Id probably purchase all of them He seems to cover every question or problem scenario you could think of when watching his videos and explains a solution in mild detail Also most photography tutorials format their videos to give the viewer the impression that the instructor gets the perfect picture on their first attempt instead of showing the trial and error EVERY photographer goes through in studio photography That trial error and the steps the instructor takes to resolve the problem are far more important than just providing EXIF data Well done Scott And keep the videos coming Exceptional tutorial
This is an outstanding App Scott Kelby has produced one of the most useful training applications on photographic lighting for the iPad This same training package for the Mac or PC sells for four times the amount There shouldnt be any App pricing whiners on this one This is without a doubt the best photography app I have purchased so far Scott please give us more Photo Recipes Live Behind The Scenes
While I agree that the quality of the video is good and illustrates good points I expected narrative and photos as well not ALL video On the Scott Kelby blog it states all video AND content is included with the app to me this meant text images and video I did not read carefully enough the description of the ap which does only say video So of only limited use to me How do I return Disappointed
I was a little hesitant buying this app because of the audio problems noted in other reviews but I luckily I have issues with it at all I wish it was a little longer for the price but still there is some really good stuff in it for someone like me who want to start with studio lighting I give four stars because of the lenght and also there are no side by side comparsion shots for most of the images when using whitesilver reflector or no reflector or other setups But overall I have no regret buying this app it gives lots of useful information tips and shows them in practice Great tips
No sound When you play a video the volume bar appears for a second then disappears No sound
