I never got it to work I restarted computer 2 times and it just hangs I quit all applications etc Never got a file Forget it     Crashed immediately upwardreview

I purchased this application for recording walkthroughs and tutorials Unfortunately it does not record audio on my Mac Pro with an external GigaWare microphone Recorded MOV video is fine and the quality of the video is somewhat fine but Screen Recorder MX with the Enable Sound option checked does not capture the audio portion of the screen recording Note I can record video and audio using QuickTime X and my microphone but I was hoping for better quality and options by purchasing and trying this product Sad to say that it seems that this purchase was a bust But then it may have something to do to the fact that the Mac Pro product line doesn t get an internal microphone I would like to know what other Mac Pro users who purchased this product did to solve this audio issue if they did I rated this application as one star not because I hate it but because I cannot use this software on my Mac for the purpose that I intended Mac Pro running Snow Leopard     Audio Issue Mr. NameThatWasntTaken

This is seriously the best screen recorder on a Mac It was worth my money the video and audio came out just fine and I could pick between a billion formats And the quality is good too The only problem is that it doesn t work properly anymore once you switch to Lion                     Amazing Emma .

Despite the five dollar price tag which is not much this app did not work at all It recorded only seconds worth of still screen before it turned into a jumbled mess of misaligned images growing worse over the 30 second sample video I was trying to create Do not buy this app     Bad App Taylor Browkerrtski

I wanted a simple application that would allow me to video capture the Mac OS X user interface for educational purposes There s no full screen option so the Dock is alway cut out i e the lower application portion of the screen is not included in the video capture frame The output options weren t very clear at least not to me Also I received several errors while rendering the video outputs Output quality required too many clicks This App requires enhancements in order to rate a 5 charge Looking forward to updates     Save the 5 esprophet

As long as you record screen shots less than 4 minutes sometimes only 3 it works fine otherwise it crashes I have had no trouble saving into any of the available formats in all fairness I have only tried about 6 different ones The problem lies in the crashing If they correct the stability issues I think it will be a great app     Crashes Jor269

Crashes if you record a video longer than 3 minutes and if it crashes it does not save the video Unable to record in any other format than Ipod Touch or it crashes First worthless App I ve downloaded from the MacStore     Waste of money SnuggleShark
