Nothing more to say the idea and concept are fantastic Although its very slow to load and crashes Often Im sure an update or two would fix any issues     Great idea slow and crashes

App has good info on sustainability but sorely lacks info on mercury levels and can lead to consumers making a poor choice for their own health For example king mackerel has one of the highest level of mercury according to National Resources Defense Council but this app shows 3 out of 4 choices as best choice based on sustainability and color coded green which may lead consumers to purchase when its actually very harmful to them Please consider adding mercury information to the entries so we can all make informed decisions that are healthy for the environment as well as ourselves Also a usability suggestion after viewing an entry from search results please make the back button go back to the search results instead of the entire list Sometimes I search for a fish and want to check out each of its varieties but the back button takes me all the way back to the beginning Please go back to the search results from a specific entry Thanks        Recommend adding Mercury info

Like others this app will not even open     Doesnt even open

Ive used this guide since before it became an app and its grown more complicated in the past couple of years Its great to be thorough but too much complexity is confusing and can cause crashes Im not sure about partners either For example we are having difficulty in the Pacific Northwest regarding some mollusk farmings use of biocides while others are more sustainable Thanks for all your work We really need this but I use it less than I used to since its not so easy           No longer so easy

Zero search results for sockeye or sockeye salmon Its right there if I go to the S section How can I trust that the recommendations are accurate when so little effort is put into the app Invest in a competent app Until then Ill have to trust my memory Swordfish is okay right        Amateurish

This is a great concept but despite deleting and reloading the app all I get is just a moment were updating the app Theyve been updating for months nowWould love to use it when its functional     It doesnt work

There isnt any information on any of the fish You would think that since it has been 6 months since the previous release this one would have been QAd I hope seafood watch can find new developers     Fixed crashing but still useless

I used to carry around the little card the seafood guide used to be printed on so I was thrilled to see that theres an app Unfortunately I cant even get it to open just a black screen that never loads any info Useless     Wont even open

It either opens then crashes immediately opens and stalls forever saying its updating the databases or refuses to open at all Funny I havent used it much this past winter but with spring coming Im in the mood for fish People at Whole Foods shouldnt have to wait while Im navigating a web site when the app is SO FAST when it works Please fix this I otherwise love it and want to give you five stars     No longer working AT ALL

Was disappointed to discover yesterday that this app no longer works on my phone perhaps due to the recent updates It now crashes every time I open it I even tried reinstalling it and still had with the same problem I wound up having to use the Seafood Watch website to double check some choices while at the grocery store yesterday I dont mind having to refer to their site as a temporary solution but would love this app to be fixed so that I can easily refer to it again when shopping and going to out eat           My favorite app but now crashes when I use it

Ever since I got the iPhone 5s this app has not worked at all but I didnt delete in the hopes it would be fixed The other week it began working again I havent had any problems Still like this app a lot hope it stays up              The app is working again

The app looks beautiful and it seems to have the information Im looking for But I would rather have a bare list because the interface is so broken the information is completely inaccessible Trying to search or sort makes the entire app go blank and stay that way for minutes at a time on an iPhone 6 on wifi There is no feedback on UI elements Even a progress bar would help At least then we would have a better idea of whether it was completely broken or just unacceptably slow        I wish it worked

Revising this to reflect a very informative app that actually runs now I would add avoid Thai shrimp as it is entirely produced with forced labor but I suppose human rights may be beyond the purview of the aquarium              No more crashing Thanks

I used an older version of this app on my iPod for years and it worked great Its very disappointing that the newer version doesnt work on my new iPhone Like others have said it just sits there updating     Sad

After trying deleting the last two versions of the App I had hoped that this latest iteration would useable While the information is relevant getting to it is a pain EVERY time I open it the App insists on updating even if I used it only 10 minutes ago So I sit and watch it update for over a minute There should be some way to disable the auto updating update when I want to do it Seriously this App has gone downhill in terms of usability What happened        Still buggy

The app stalls on opening wile it updates the database Then if you close and reopen it works sometimes for a few minutes at most before crashing After a few of these cycles it stops displaying information at all and returns no results when you type something common like salmon Sustainability is a huge consideration in my food choices and I really depend on sources like this for accurate information trouble is it must be available to me at the point of sale     crashing

Every Time It Opens I Wait For Updates I typed it out to simulate the cadence of waiting and waiting while the app updates Then once it is opened no fish found        Better before the update

I was among many who reported the problem with version 40 opens to a black screen on iPod touch 5 running iOS 8x I am happy to report this update fixes it Also like the new feature using Location Services to display restaurants nearby supporting responsible fish supply                 Thanks for the update
