What a pleasant surprise to see the latest version of this app All of the features I d hoped for are now here including support for touch ID support for landscape view The last one is especially useful because it provides access to a larger keyboard I had that on the iPad version but not on the iPhone Excellent update                     Excellent update dhugot

Have used this program nearly 2 decades now finally gave another 20 for yet one more upgrade but seems more of a downgrade Iphone can t search and you have to edit to copy Bummer Another major fail is that you can t use it on any sort of iPad it scales the keyboard so it blocks the ok button right on the password setup TV apathy did a good thing by trying to port it but overlooked many of the features that made this a great program on the Palm Some can be laid at the feet of the dingbats at Apple but c mon making it completely unusable on an iPad because you didn t plan for a keyboard             Big adjustment from Palm version Dude0u812

I also have used this app since the palm pilot days A basic program that stays off the cloud but allows you to sync with a desktop PC I like keeping my own backups of passwords and having multiple copies in case of hardware failures or loss of phone I ve used Mac syncs in the past but use Windows 10 now                     Latest update makes this a great program TiGrr100

I ve been using Secret since the time of Palm Pilots Also use Secret Desktop on my MAC for wireless synching with my iPhone Absolutely love this app It doesn t have all of the bells and whistles as some of those Password apps that sync through the cloud have but that s what makes it great No worries about someone s cloud server being hacked and all of my info being stolen And now that Secret has Touch ID I m a very happy camper                     Updated w Touch ID e1rmxtlg

I have been using Secret Desktop and the Palm version for many years and have been very pleased with Linkesoft support The syncing feature between the desktop and the iPad couldn t be easier and definitely could not be faster I was completely amazed at the speed the entire sync was done in much less than one second after I clicked the sync button If you have been using Secret Desktop and or on a Palm device or if like me you still use it on your Treo and desktop and you also have an iPad and want to have your data there too then this is a great app for you The Secret Desktop program even lets you sync with both Treo or a more modern device and iPad albeit 2 different files You can specify whether the sync is bidirectional or whether desktop overwrites the mobile device s or vice versa Re the user Woodwise review just above this one you CAN copy and paste data Just go to the entry you are interested in and click the EDIT button at the upper right Then you can SELECT COPY etc If you have never used Secret before you should check it out Very easy to use has Windows and Mac versions for the desktop and supports all major handheld OS strong encryption easy syncing between the desktop and the mobile devices and great support                     Excellent MJAYF

I ve been using Secret for a couple of years with my Palm Pre I like that this app provides the flexibility to make freeform entries rather than filling in pre defined fields Search is fast and covers all text in an entry making it easy to find what you want Wifi sync with the desktop version is fast Moving the Secret data from my previous handheld to the iPhone was easy and painless Highly recommended                     Excellent AllenBShore

Like others who have provided reviews on this product I have used Secret for many year First on my Palm Pilot and laptop and now on my iPod and laptop I did have some trouble getting the iPod iPhone version to sync at first but I followed the information on the web site and got it working Now it syncs with no trouble                     Have used Secret for years love it Honu Kimo

As a long time user of Secret on the Palm and Windows I am disappointed by this implementation Documentation is woeful Interface is clumsy Developer is completely unresponsive to questions What a shame     Lazy developer tomatosauce44

I have been using this software for over 5 years in various devices It works well on the handheld But if you lose your hand held I had two iPod Touch devices stolen from me you have to keep a written record of your information because the desktop version of Secret is impossible to use In 5 years they have never answered a question I have never been able to get the handheld to sync with my computer and so I have to keep a written file and enter each and every entry by hand and I have a bundle of them I have had a Palm Pilot Tungsten C three iPod Touch devices an iPad and now an iPhone Guess what you have to pay even more to use the iPhone You have to bend over and grab your ankles just because you want the convenience of the iPhone The instructions are not understandable I have been trying for 5 years to sync my devices to keep from entering over 200 entries into the handheld by using those infernal virtual keypads but I had to do it I absolutely refused to try to use this program on the BlackBerry I had The customer support stinks The instructions stink The handheld program is excellent It s kind of like being married to Christy Brinkley with a chastity belt I am looking for another program that actually works easily and has great encryption like this one but actually is user friendly It is almost as if the makers of this program are playing a spy vs spy game to see if anyone can figure out how to make the program work After many years I cannot recommend this program to anyone unless you spend your weekends beating yourself with a chain on your back for entertainment     This software is poorly documented TimeTakr

Secret is still an excellent and reliable tool I ve used it for years on Palm iPod Mac and now iPad and still enjoy its forms free design The index strip added in the current version is a very nice feature I m hoping for a native iPad app but the existing one is still great Thanks                     Good work spjk

Used it since it s Palm days Works great on the iPhone The only question I have now is that with iOS4 and multitasking does this program and others like it leave the data in memory when switched to the background That would be bad but I am only speculating This works well and syncs wirelessly over WiFi easily                     Works as advertised Titch-Neil

I have used Secret Palm and Desktop for 8 years and have been satisfied with the product and support I was sad to lose Secret when the PalmOS was discontinued and I switched an iPod touch I am happy to discover this version for the iPhone and iTouch My large database of userids and passwords transferred and synch ed perfectly There is no way for me to use a product like this on my iTouch without a companion desktop version like Secret has I am a happy camper                     Secret keeps me going djjd566

I have used this program along with Secret Desktop for over 10 years Wonderful to have passwords bank info etc on my iPhone protected in the event of loss Easy to sync iPhone to a computer via wi fi A must app in my opinion The Secret Desktop program is great to have on your laptop to store the hundreds of bits of info passwords for every one of your online accounts for example                     Secret Is the Best Amex Bus

I have been very satisfied using Secret with my Palm Sony Clie and Windows desktops for many years Although I had already purchased another password app on recently switching to an iPhone I purchased the Secret iPhone app as soon as I found it and dropped the other app I much prefer the notes approach vs fields with category records list records displayed in panes arranged in one window rather than the fields approach and records displayed in a separate window from the categories records pane The developers have always responded quickly to questions and continue to update the program with new features and improvements I also purchased the Macsecret desktop after the developers quickly answered my inquiry in the affirmative that I could sync my iPhone with both my work Windows desktop and Macbook Pro laptop so that the information is readily available on all three platforms                     Great app that syncs with Windows and Mac concurrently FrankCa

Giving this a well deserved 5 stars My previous review 3 days ago which I m editing here reported some minor problems I m glad to report that true to the Dev s usual form all the new for Apple stumbling blocks have been fixed and the app is ready for prime time The original developer Linkesoft created this great private info bank for Palm devices ported it to Windows desktop and Windows Mobile devices to Macs and now thanks to tv apathy to iPod Touch iPhone I ve happily used it through all of its migrations for the last 9 or so years The devs continually listened to their users and added modified features to make it ever more useful and user friendly Make sure you visit the Developers web sites an essential companion of this iPod Touch iPhone version is the Desktop version which runs on both Windows and Mac platforms With this Desktop you can use all your Secret data right from the convenience of your desk and laptop machines all your critical data ready to hand highly encrypted easy to find and use Cut and paste passwords accounts etc into your browser to shop on line manage your bank accounts and find that old address where you lived 30 years ago Keep whatever info you need kept secret in an easy to access form from whatever your device platform                     Long term user is glad it s fully here dtaylor2

Best darn security software I have used I have used it on my Palm and PC platforms for several years I love it s ease of use Very happy to see it here for my iPod Touch My hope is to have the dev make a version to work on my Blackberry Storm Also over the years any time I have had a question or a suggestion I was treated like I was a personal friend Questions were answered almost immeadiately and suggestions were very often incorporated Customer service is way above the norm This is one app you will not regret having to keep ALL your private notes and passwords just that SECRET                     All you need 2Quick
