Biggest complaint is that it is so hard to use For example the app resets your IP address and port number EVERY time the app closes Sensor data can only be streamed when the app is open and the screen is on I was able to get it working contrary to other recent reviews         Frustrating to work with dan.t

App can t record mag field data from iPhone 6 on iOS 6 The file management is also getting buggy in new iOS They need to update software don t bother buying it now until it gets update for new OS and hardware     App is old and not working well with iOS 9 Rick G

Hands down the best app for reading sensors it can be configured to download all sensors as well as some useful derived values at a high rate 100Hz on iphone6 with a nice output format that is easily read with Excel or Matlab                     Fantastic App Tim10oct13

We are experimenting to see if it is possible to do neuroscience experiments with motion of the arm I m not sure how well it works and fear it might be bottoming out at certain points but suspect this is a function of the sensors I like the application             Good as a start EdoRoshi

What you advertise is so promising but it only seems to store a fraction of the data set it is supposed too The data that it does record looks good but the csv files contain only a fraction of the number of samples it says it has recorded The weird thing is that the number of samples it successfully records each time changes so it is not like it is hitting a buffer limit Please fix this app so it will continuously log data on a 5s     Please make work ZeffZoreX

App tends to record only 5 samples when sample counter indicates a few hundred were taken In other words it doesn t work     Promising but non functional Dataist

This is a good effort and the interface makes sense but it crashes after data collection almost every single time It really does crash more often than not             Crashes Kaplatnick

First I must commend the engineers I can tell that a tremendous amount of thought and work went into this program On a iPhone 5 and 3GS when one tries to edit the ip address in the streaming config tab the wrong way to edit the ip address the keyboard comes up and covers the edit box Then when you press return the keyboard goes away and it will never let you scroll down low enough to enter data in the ip edit box again Also it would be great if someone would create an executable file that would rewrite a single line of all the sent data to a comma delimited text file to the PC Currently one needs to install python 2 7 or greater and execute the command line script that only displays the data It works but now I m having to learn yet another programming language to make the program useful I bought this app to use as an autonomous robot controller to interface with the EZ Robot platform I had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get back to the streaming IP address in the configure menu I look forward to an update to correct these issues Or at least modified python script that rewrites a single line in a text file that will be left open for any programs to read Thanks Bill         Can t edit IP address for UDP streaming BrainPaint

I was looking for a cheap and easy data collection tool for record speed and acceleration rate for calibrating traffic simulation models This application is just what I have wanted The interface is well done and gives you the options to select and record stream only the data items of your interest and at the frequency you need It works right at my first try and so far no problem found yet I recorded a 10 miles trip this afternoon and checked speed profile The effect of speed humps stop signs traffic lights and a truck I had to follow for awhile can be clearly identified The profile of the altitude seems also makes sense but I have not analyze it s accuracy yet The only issue I see so far is that the GPS data such as lon lat alt and speed is collected at 1hz even though rest of data is at 10hz up to 100hz supported I guess that this might be a limitation of iPhone or Mac OS rather than Wavefront Lab s Sensor Data program One suggestion I would like to make for it s next version is to allow saving data in binary format which would increase accuracy and reduce file size or data to be transmitted from iPhone to the server                     Great and very useful Demaner

This works great The best part of this app is that it streams data over UDP so that you can get a stream of data realtime which is fun if you re tying this into a Processing patch or some other script It does crash every once in a while but never during data collection so I m otherwise pretty happy with it                     Does what it says on the tin brenschluss
