It definitely does not read my finger print After all I tested it with all eight fingers both thumbs the side of my hand the tips and sides of several fingers and one knuckle It always had the same finger print It does however amuse me and since I got it while it was on sale for free I think I got a good deal I wouldnt recommend paying large amounts of money for this but if you can get it while its free or maybe a small fee like 099 go for it As far as I can tell it doesnt do much but it is amusing Good for a Laugh
