ShareFile for iPad

Air drop no longer works with most recent overhaul of ShareFile app Still works with other applications Creates previously unnecessary step with meeting prep        Tough to Share Files

On the good side You can create documents and folders You can create files within those folders These are Microsoft version documents spreadsheets or presentations You can edit them from the cloud or you can make them resident to your iPad off line On the down side You cannot move a document from one folder to another How can you say it is a file management app if it cannot move files Other apps cannot seem to access these cloud files even when logged on to their service        File Management Poor

I love the new interface Everything is clean fast and intuitive                 Amazing App

Does not support inapp sharing like Dropbox Box GoogleDrive etc Why offer a sharing app when you cant share Useless     No sharing support

Wow What an amazing app Being able to have access to my files and reports anywhere I go has changed the way I and the entire office work Very slick very smooth                 Game Changer

I downloaded it first on my work first gen iPad and it crashes every time I thought I would try my wifes iPad2 and exact same thing Cannot get past the login screen without it crashing     Will not work

Finally the IPad app is out I quit using Dropbox after the PC World article about misrepresenting their security features I have used the PC version for almost a year without any problems Now I can use the IPad instead of lugging my PC everywhere Works with GoodReader my preferred pdf reader without any hiccups                 Finally

I have saved several type of documents PDF Excel and Word to a shared file If I view them through the app on my iPad the documents are blurry If I use a browser everything looks great Also the documents look great through the app on my iPhone 5 Whats the difference        Documents are blurry

share file manages files but the iPad viewer doesnt seem to be working I cannot view PDF files that have been downloaded              Viewers

Really impressed with the new interface and I am thrilled to be able to switch between multiple accounts so seamlessly                 Love having my files with me everywhere I go

The new interface is very slick and handling for offline mode is much improved The new remote wipe features are also great                 Love the new interface

Both my iPad and iPhone version are not able to complete the Add account page I have therefore not been able to use the app at all Seems to be a bad build for this particular version I have deleted reloaded tried to troubleshoot but to no avail     App freezes in continual loading screen on add account page

I used to email password protected PDF files to my clients After reading numerous articles on the subject I came to the realization that this is not as secure as I thought ShareFile is a great alternative to email and the user interface on the website is easy to use Having access to the files on my iPad just puts the icing on the cake                 Excellent way to send secure files to clients

This app only allows you to move files that are viewable on the iPad If you can view it this app allows you to copy the file and paste into other apps like FileBrowser This allows you to move your files to your network directories Heres the problem We use Sharefile to receive files from customers that cant always be viewed on the iPad I still want to be able to move those files to my network drives however this app prevents you from doing so even though it allows you to download the file For now its back to the laptop to get the work done Would love to just use the iPad           A bit limiting

This was a great app but this version keeps crashing while reading documents Needs an update        Keeps crashing

Is there an option to view documents full screen and turn pages When I click on a document I can only see a small version of the first page only This has the potential to be a good app but without an easy to use viewer it is useless for many business users Thanks        Is there a viewer

Most of the functionality is there but the interface needs to continued to be streamlined Landscape only while browsing is extremely annoying When I get to the document I want I rotate my iPad to view it If I need to edit it I go back one step rotate my iPad and click edit mode then rotate my iPad back again to portrait The entire process is counter intuitive The application needs both portrait and landscape mode and editing should be as easy as hitting the edit button while the document is open        Functional but not a pleasure to use

I think ShareFile is so much better then the BoxGoogle drive its like having a Porsche then getting a Huffy its that good Thomas Zickell                 I Love it

Only allows me to select from videos of photos when I select upload It does not allow me to upload WORD fileswhy What am I doing wrong I am using my iPad Mini     Cannot upload files

After talking to tech support Ive discovered that in order to use ShareFile you need to set up your account via the web as a trial version The account will either expire at the end of the trial period or will need to be converted over to a paid account In either case I think the frontend description is deceptive to the user     Application is not really free

I am a HUGE lover of ShareFile via the web and had high expectations of their iPad app but it is a dismal failure I can sign on just fine but it doesnt display current files How its getting files weeks old is beyond me Gives me no confidence when Im looking at something that I cant know how old it is Im so very disappointed     iPad app terrible

See above     Cant access iPads camera role Just says loading and nothing happens

The ShareFile app gives me incredible access to my ShareFile account giving me access to important documents on the go Some docs are just too large to email and ShareFile allows me to control access to my documents right from the iPad I suggest this app to anyone that uses ShareFile                 Impressive Access to my ShareFile Account

Unable to log in after multiple attempts I can access via the web with the same credentials     Terrible

The app works quite well but one complaint dont force me to do the tutorial              app works well

It is a fine file storage area and I like being able to send customers links to files However there is no Open in button if ShareFile cannot preview the file The Open in button only appears on files that ShareFile can preview This is a severe limitation in my opinion           Needs an Open in button for iPad
