While I overall like the product the company needs to figure out a better mechanism to hold the device Still too easy to pop out of the band You need to be creative in the placement of the misfit when using the device for activities other than walkingrunning I put it on my cycling shorts leg so it counts the workout Still a ways to go

Love the shine but the app is a bust Been tracking all activity as swimming even though the default is set to walking Contacted support They put me through all of these take another whack at it gyrations none of which fixed the problem When they figured out I wasnt going away they told me it was a known issue and would be fixed in a future update Its been weeks Im at them gym now and Im not swimming but you would never know that by looking at my misfit app Get with the program LITERALLY

I have a Fitbit Withing and Pacer collecting dust Each has their own strengths and weaknesses but I love this one The others died from sweat but not my Misfit I like that I never have to take it off never have to baby it or remember where it is It never dies It synchs reliably when I open my app Most of all I love that it always tells me how much exercise I have remaining This got me back into running because clearly Id be done exercising sooner each day if I ran I love competing with my exercise buds and seeing how many marathons I have run I cant wait to wear it diving and see how much exercise I get underwater Dont bother to try anything else Best fitness tracker Ive tried four

I have to say overall it gives me what I need to know For sleep its not completely accurate as it has a hard time registering when I wake in the middle of the night and am awake for awhile Steps also a bit off but the day I was painting it registered way more steps than it should have But hey that day I was a superhero I guess Happy with my choice
I have had my misfit for over a year now and have almost never taken it off It gets a lot of attention because of its appearance and functionality The app has evolved quite a bit in the past year and shows the companies commitment to style and function You can tell a lot went into the design of the shine Best Around
I love that my Misfit Shine can go anywhere pool road bed and that the app was so easy to install and use My kids 10 yr old BG twins are super jealous and now want their own Goes Everywhere

Ive always loved my Shine because I can track my swimming So I was excited to see a Speedo version of the Shine which I purchased immediately And I love the swimming functions But so far the syncing with the app has been subpar It has been missing exercises such as routine walking or running and will often not sync no matter tweak what I try Im confident Misfit will fix this but until then I have to take two stars off my usual five for Misfit products A little frustrated
Firstly I LOVE my misfit It does exactly what it is supposed to do Wore it at a water park and went in the wave pool and had it completely submerged with no problems It works great Some of my friends have fitbits and I like the features of the misfit better Its more attractive less bulky I like that it just can tell when youre sleeping and its surprisingly accurate And not having to charge it is another plus The app is great I like the friends feature I can compete with my mom and some other friends who have it Very motivating Data works great and gives a lot of info very simply laid out and easy to use 1 thing I wish it did have was what your average sleep start and wake times are Not just your average sleep length But honestly this is the only downside to the app Love

The Misfit iPhone app keeps crashing when it tries to sync with my Pebble upon opening the app I can still sync my progress via my Pebble but cant look back at my history since the app crashes within seconds of opening Ill raise my rating once this is fixed App keeps crashing
Rather painful The only Bluetooth device that I own that refuse to reliably pair and sync with the app Records way fewer steps than you actually take Its water resistance is about the only thing good about it Ok but fails to sync FREQUENTLY
Latest firmware is just horrible accuracy is down the drain tracks sleep wrongly activity tracking is inaccurate Was awesome

Sometimes I get stuck or lost in a menu that asks me when I went to bed Overall the app isnt bad though I would like a different view of the sleep recap though even though the current views give an adequate picture already For what I paid for the hardware Im happy Not bad
I love my Misfit but I lost one and the second one I lost again but found it a week later three hours from where I worked you have to upgrade to the stainless steal band its well worth it have had no problems since I got the new band except for the battery died with no warning You should have it keep up with your heart rate and show or warn you when its real high that would make it even greater then what it is now Thank you for your product Up grade to a stainless steal case

About 10 days ago I got the new Speedo Misfit Shine due to its support for swimming plus other activities Plus I liked the form factor of the device The app and device are not great The ONLY thing that seems to be accurate is swim tracking Ive tried it for cycling indoor and outdoor and it only tracks a small percentage of my activity For cycling I noticed that if I begin the activity with a triple tap it stops after about 10 minutes I think it may be due to the device knocking against my shoe however that is the suggested location for cycling Furthermore the edit feature has not worked even once Every time I try to edit something I get the Oops Something went wrong message Ive tried again later right away next day nope nothing I am considering sending it back Speedo Misfit Shine good for swimming Everything else Not so much
Love the Flash and the app It tracks all the things that I do everyday I wish it would automatically recognize when Im riding my bike based on the motion and speed I wear it on my ankle Works well VHHV
Syncs nicely with my Weight Watchers app and keeps me honest about my activity levels I love that it is waterproof I havent gone swimming with it but I dont have to worry if I get caught in the rain It also survived a trip through the washing machine That my Shine is also so pretty is a lovely bonus If I wish I can put it on a necklace I have and wear it like jewelry Thank goodness for excellent design and engineering Does the job and then some
This is my first tracking watchapp and I love it I have the Misfit Flash I would like to have a place to write notes about what activity I did or why I slept goodbad Had a hard time getting it to sync after a battery change but other than that I am enjoying learning about my sleepactivity patterns Havent used the food part yet Love it

I used to have a Misfit Shine and it worked pretty well with this app It didnt log things perfectly but I could quickly edit any incorrect entries Overall was a very capable device and app I upgraded to a Speedo Shine and installed the new update and now nothing works as it should It logs sleep inaccurately says Im still sleeping after Ive woken up and whenever I try to edit a asleep or activity entry I get an error message and all of my activity for the day is ERASED no matter how many times I try resyncing The alarm function is useless Despite being set to the default sound it doesnt make any noise Im really disappointed because I love this system when it actually works Please FIX your app Misfit Very disappointed with update

I want to delete friends I had the first shine and my summary data under me shows nothing even though Ive been using the flash for 2 months now It should show my average sleep marathon etc shows my best record being dec 31 1969 Suggestions for improvementsbugs
The app nicely tracks fitness and sleepso much so that it accurately tracks my walking I checked it against a GPS mapping of my walk and detects when Im asleep Im amazed by the app including both its simplicity and accuracy I love my Shine and look forward to using it every day Does what it promises
The app is incredibly easy to use When I check it at night and realize I am just under my goal it pushes me to go for a walk or do something to hit the goal instead of plopping down on the couch The sleep monitor function is neat but doesnt lineup with another sleep app I use so I dont know which is more accurate but it gives the general pattern of ones sleep Easy to use and motivating
The first version of this app was much better if you wanted to view all your activities of the day in an easy way This one is just confusing They need to also improve 2 things the swimming algorithm needs to upgrade and give more info like stroke and lap count And the sport strap is really bad I already lost 2 shines because they fall of I only insist because this is the best waterproof tracker Original App was better
One downside is activity tagging It doesnt work and gives error Misfit shine is nice
