Shrink My Pictures - Reduce Image Size Without Resizing

Will not reduce any of over 200 photos I have on my iPad 3 os7     Waste of my time

This does nothing but copy the file to another folder No resizing whatsoever     Rip Off

This app does what it promises works awesome and is the ONLY APP Ive found that will show the file size of your photos The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because it needs a helphow totutorial menu to be able to see the tutorial again It also needs to clarify how the photos are saved automatically no save button And one more issue is you cant see the file size on photos with white or light background I would like the option to change the the file size font from white to black black to white for visibility              Works Great a bit difficult to understand

A lot of fileshrink apps are slow or counterintuitive Not ShrinkMyPic This version delivers taskspeed just slightly below warp speed on an iPad 32 latest iOS No waiting GUI is a little juvenile But I can deal because it is braindead linear I do a lot of PNG screenshot huge on iPad filesize reductions for social media shares They upload fast with no clipping Separate photo album assists EZ selection Made it pretty idiot proof Which for me again is a good thing Adding a cropping tool would be nice                 Faster easier functionality GUI stupid simple a good thing

I agree with the previous reviewthis is easy to use but really really needs a way to identify which photo has been modified I bought this because I create documents on my iPad with a lot of pictures and my file documents are too large to email This app does a great job of quickly reducing the picture data size and it show how bit the jpeg file isnice but it just puts the resulting picture in the camera roll I ended up deleting the wrong one and had to do it again glad I did a trial run Still for the cost it does what it is suppose to do              Good but needs a few key items

When my picture uploads it just stops at 51 percent and does not do anything else Ive tried it over and over Very disappointed     Terrible

Whenever you see a bunch of 5Star ratings and a bunch of 1Star ratings with few scores in the middle usually something is amiss One group is missing the boat I tried out a dozen or so of these image compression apps albeit mostly free ones This particular one came out on top The app is easy to figure out is highly customizable can do batch processing and most importantly the app works Most dont or dont work well The five star crowd had it right                 Well designed

I got this to shrink some but near enough to print my pictures that I have put in different frames It still cuts a little off the frame     Dissapointed

This program didnt workmeet my expectations what a waste Hate throwing away money even just 99 cents Dont buy this     Sucked

For the cost It doesnt take long to get use to it and pretty simple to use Only drawback is being able to identify which picture is the original and the other the processed picture in the camera roll even though it is displayed within the app I deleted one copy out of three 1 original and 2 resized which changed the original order The deletion registered in the app but the new order it was in wasnt recognized by the app keeping the original order              Pretty good

This app does not SAVE OVER the existing files It shrinks the files you have and saves them again There NEEDS To be an option to save over existing Otherwise there is now an extra step of deleting the old ones and reorganizing EVERYTHING because the saved photos are stored as your newest pictures SERIOUSLY SAVE OVER THE LARGE FILES           Its ok

Simply Astonishing At first I was a little confused at how it affected the total storage of the home as I followed the procedure indicated from the start of opening the app and I noted that the total usage grew but when I figured out that it was part of an entire process the compression really makes sense This app is really amazing Dont let the image on the scale icon fool you into thinking that this is a gimmick icon this should be a standard app on the iOS screen Here is the entire process so that you can also experience the epic change 1 Open up the Shrink My Pictures App 2 In the main screen select Add on the bottom left 3 This will take you to a picture selection screen where all the photo file types are in red corner ribbons 4 Tap to select all of the pictures you want to be shrunk or compressed into smaller files it is set to Medium size by default this is so you dont have to wait awhile There will be a check on each picture you select 5 When you have selected all of the pictures you want make a mental note of where you ended off on a piece of paper It is also best to start selecting your pictures from the top down This will be important for an upcoming step 6 After you make a note press Done Then press Start the middle lower button with the white image 7 In the middle of the screen you will see a loading timer with a percentage relating to the process of the compression Above you will see a Megabyte counter which indicates the space that is being made from shrinking the photos 8 After this compression process has ended comes the important process 9 Go into your normal Album section of your Photos out of the app and you will see that you now have a Shrink My Pictures Photos album with the compressed photos inside 10 Then go to Camera Roll which includes all of your photos and videos If you scroll all the way to the bottom of these photos you will see duplicates of the photos that you copied These duplicates are actually the compressed photos which are located in the Shrink my Album 11 Now is the tricky part Scroll Up to the original photos and using the Select link from the top Right of the Album page select the original photos from their original position Be Careful do not select your videos Then hit the trash can to delete your original photos 12 Then comes the final step Click on the Albums link on the top left of this page and scroll to the album entitled Recently Deleted Open this and you will see the photos you deleted Then press the Select link located in the top right However instead of selecting each one again just press the Delete All link on the lower left Confirm that you are deleting those original Large photos and voila there will be A Lot more space                 This is the Photo Compression iOS App that I have Longed For

Works like a charm Shows you your existing photo sizes reduces by approx 13 or 12 or 23 your choice and maintains photo dimensions and sharpness I have saved several GB space already This is exactly what I needed Tank you                 Fabulous little app highly recommended for ipad

Great app works to whittle down photo sizes I use this alongside another app Photogene4 by Omer Shoor I use the latter app to convert PNGs to JPGs then this little app to further size down the photo                

Im quite irritated I spent 1 on this app that doesnt do what it says I tried to resize GIF and all it did was make a copy into another folder I had it for a total of 5 minutes before I deleted Dont buy     Doesnt work
