ShowOne has been a great help for my solo guitar gigs I tweak pre recorded backing tracks by adding cues in GarageBand I bring them into ShowOne where I can change the key if I want I add the backing tracks to specific sets such as Latin or pop rock or jazz The only problem I have encountered is that my iPod touch seems to drain it s battery quickly when I use ShowOne during my gigs Any ideas how to fix that                 Great app for solo gigs but battery drain Denis K

Megadave45 said it best I agree with 100 of what he said So I ll repeat a few I need to be able to select when click starts in a track I need to be able to have automated click available or be able to select what bar a bpm changes Multiple bpms for a single track Having seamless track play would be nice Having the count off over lap with a previous track would help Make it more visual like logic of protools with waveforms and a playhead I m waiting for an apogee duet to be delivered very excited to try the multiple output options Last thing Make an iPad verison                 Great App Needs modification winghonghingdrum

Almost perfect for me Some of my songs have long intros before the drums begin however and I would like to be able to choose the specific measure the click or count off begins without having to intently watch the measure number count This feature would be similar to the current Click Mute feature but with the ability to mute the click for the first few measures of an audio file Two other features I would love would be other time signatures though the ability to turn off click accent helps with this and the ability to change tempos of specific measures Other than that though this app is miles more efficient than any previous setup that I have used to play tracks and the ability to easily customize settings on the fly is fantastic                 Works Great Could be Perfect with One or Two Tweaks Megadave45

I haven t actually tried this at rehearsal yet but I love the idea However one thing that I noticed right off the bat is the time signature feature is limited to only 4 4 and 6 8 I have songs that are in 3 4 signature so I won t be able to use this app for the entire set until this signature is added That s a pretty common time signature so I probably won t be the last to bring this up My recommendation is to allow the user to manually set it verses limiting them to whatever is listed if that s easy and possible Just a recommendation but could 3 4 please be added to the list for now Thank you             Seems pretty good so far Salomedia

This app is really amazing I don t even have the fully unlocked version and I already love it But i need landscape mode as my Lightning cable gets in the way if I connect my external soundcard to the iPad to use it I hope it gets updated with the choice to have portrait or landscape mode This will be so amazing I would also love the sound not to stop when entering or exiting the edit mode screens I don t know if this also happens to the fully unlocked version but I find it distracting and if you need to do adjustments in real time then i don t like the music stopping and having to restart Just a few ideas and I ll probably get more the more i use it But for live worship I think this tool is amazing If you know how to do your own backing tracks like drums or keys and then have a bass player and you play guitar live then you can use this app to have more instruments play with you live I think this is so cool Just fix the issues i stated and i ll be back to give it 5 stars or more if possible Thanks                 iPad Landscape View Please Musikman4Christ

Throughout my entire career as a musician I ve never used backing tracks period Until recently it s become a requirement for the project I m working with and for the last few months we ve been struggling to find a reliable avenue that works The most basic setup dumping tracks into an iPod running signal through a mixer mono out to front of house wasn t going to work for us Enter Sidestage when paired with an interface out your live options are many Stereo out to front of house our drummer gets the full click and choice mix of tracks The performance interface is simple and easy to control Plus the basic mechanics of uploading your tracks setting tempo set order is so stupidly convenient even my parents can use it Even if your only option is to use a Dj splitter without an interface the app is just as intuitive When I was first trying the software I didn t want to jump the gun and buy an interface you re only sacrificing stereo sound On the plus you only need your device and splitter to operate it We re running the duet 2 for an interface if you can spend the clam it s been trustworthy and reliable so far from what I understand there s a majority of other units that work In closing if you re already using an Apple related product to control your set make the transition to Sidestage it s pretty much everything you ve ever wanted and then still surprises you                     Simplicity of use professional result Masterkrafty
