SkyPro GPS Status Tool

Please update the app to work since its the only way to get the gps log out off the device     Useless app crashes when trying to download gps log

Ive sent the developer an email but not a single response My trip details is now hostage since the app crashes every time I try to access that function Boo     Device works good App crashes when trying to access trips

Very disappointing start for a long awaited app Crashes almost every time shortly after you ask for satellite status Also only works in 3 of 4 rotations on my IOS 6 iPad 3 not with home key up which is what I need in my airplane Dont they test this stuff While the XGPS160 SkyPro is an excellent GPS this app needs work and is not ready yet Wondering if I should have bought brand G     Not ready yet

There is no excuse for not having an iPhone compatible app Obviously I dont know how this app works as Im using the SkyPro XGPS 160 with an iPhone and dont have an iPad     iPad only

The GPS unit works fine but the app crashes A LOT upon opening need to restart 2 to 4 times before it finally works I have an ipad 2 on IOS7        Crashes Crashes Crashes

Connects fine but you cant get your saved trips off the device This was the main reason I got the 160 and been anxiously waiting the app It keeps telling me I need to update the firmware on the gps unit Click to update and flashes that its done as soon as you click update The firmware does not update and it disconnects the gps from my iPad Wait until they update the app before you download        Wait for updated version

Have tried several times over many different days it appears as if it will update never progresses pass 0 but then says update completed Turn device off and back on repair with my iPad or iPhone and firmware remains at 120 What needs to be done Dual Incredibly after typing the above and hitting send it didnt send retried updating my device just updated to 130 Very odd this was probably the 30th time trying to update Maybe need to bad mouth it in words first              Wont update to 130or will it

The app crashes every time I try to open the Trips page I emailed the company 3 days ago and still have not received a response If I wanted a gps that didnt have the trackinglogging feature I would have saved 50 and bought the XGPS150 So far the device seems good but the app is terrible Not impressed     App Crashes

Theres currently no way to export your GPS tracks in any format other than primitive KML which doesnt even record timestamps for your data points Whats the point of having a good external GPS receiver with high update frequency if you cant pull the data from it GPX export would be greatly appreciated           Lacks proper export options

Shows useful info that apple normally conceals eg which SVs are being tracked SNRs but has some cons First the app crashes CONSTANTLY Second it shows qualitative ExcellentGoodFair fix quality indicators only rather than feetmeters of uncertainty Third there is no indication for when WAAS SVs are being tracked or which GPSGLONASS SVs have differentials Fourth there is no directional reference for the SV diagram Hopefully the next version will be stable and more comprehensive           Could be much better

There seems to be good insight on connections to the GPS and GLONASS constellations through this thing v220 of the app and FW v120 SkyPro XGPS160 Not sure I need to update firmware couldnt find any release notes on the website although I havent looked that hard Ill come back and update if I conclude that a FW update is necessary App says Im using an average of 1518 satellites for calculations the average SignaltoNoise Ratio SNR for which varies between 3135 Seems decent based on the scale which appears to top out around 50 Of course this is all from inside my house GPS receiver next to a window would guess it gets better out in full view of the stars              So far so good

Logging Trips function does NOT work App crashes constantly As other review stated we waited a long time for this app to support the XGPS160 and it does not work I regret buying the XGPS160     XGPS160 app

Finally long awaited app arrived Downloaded anddisappointing very unstable Working few seconds or minute and turning off and closed itself Need open again Seems great tool but due to above mentioned reason make it useless unfortunately     GPS status tool

I like the gps but one of the reasons I bought it was to record tracks The app no longer allows me to download them When I select that feature the app crashes every time I reinstalled the app and have the latest firmware but it still doesnt work Please put a little time into the app        App needs work

The signal quality and accuracy of the 160 is VERY good It locks on insanely fast But The logging feature only exports a kml What No gpx I am unable to use this unit for my application until it supports gpx trip export Going back to my Bad Elf Pro        Great unit app soso no gpx file support makes it a deal killer for me

I just received XGPS160 this afternoon Im an Airline Captain so until I test out this unit in flight Ill have to reserve judgment but the app itself seems like its having 811 problems I installed the app for on both my iPad 4 and my iPhone 6 And both have 811 installed Selection of the Trip page using my iPad crashes the app while on my iPhone scrolling up or down while on the Satellite page crashes it I dont know nearly enough about the differences if any between the OS for each to explain this difference but thats whats happening        The device seems great The app not so much
