As someone who lives in Manhattan I am constantly put on edge by street noise stomping upstairs neighbors you name it A few years ago I had an especially hard time sleeping when my upstairs neighbor would be extremely loud walking around both at midnight and again at 5 30am for 20 minutes at a time for months on end I got into an anxious spiral that made me even more sensitive to noises and had a harder and harder time falling asleep I already used earplugs kept the fans on and even got a white noise machine but I would still wake up when my neighbor was up Eventually I found Sleep Pillow and now I sleep every night to this app the airplane storm windmill mix with noise cancelling headphones and I almost never wake up to noisy neighbors or street noise anymore Thank you Sleep Pillow for helping me fall stay asleep and restore my sanity Also the same airplane storm windmill mix is also good for drowning out fellow passengers on buses or airplanes who talk too loudly                     Great way to drown out irritating background noises SleepingInNY:)

I do not understand what peeps expect from a free app I am totally down with the choices I have with Sleep Pillow It is an alarm clock a timer Yes I love being a studio tech creating my own mix tapes I can manipulate 3 bytes at a time with water sounds Why wouldn t I everyone can make their own mix tapes Like several reviewers I use my Sleep Pillow to soothe before falling asleep To wake up 2 nature sounds is also pretty dang amazing I adore the choices of water open spaces to help me face my morning No regrets I use Sleep Pillow all the time                     Free app does what it s supposed to more Darcy Der

Love the mobile app it has the ability to mix up to 3 sounds at a time with varying volumes save your mix etc The desktop app doesn t have that or maybe I don t have the most updated version even if I just downloaded it It s a bit inconvenient I have a mix on my phone that lets me sleep like a baby and was looking forward to having that on my computer Oh well The noises are high quality there s a lot of options and the other features work fine                 Wish it was like the mobile app Alikfish

I like rain sounds in any app or site that offers it and this app is no exception with its many different background sounds However unlike others in this app you cannot combine sounds like my favorite rain with favorite thunder with bamboo chimes etc Separate volume settings would also add flexibility But now the app has only one preset combo which doesn t quite cut it Hence only three stars for now             Neat but no combo iTuneStar10

I used a free website to generate noise for myself to sleep to I decided to look for an app so that I could sleep to noise when offline and not have to have Flash installed The best noise to sleep to is brown noise but that s not an option here There s also no way to add custom noises so if you want brown noise you re out of luck You also can not play more than one noise at a time I prefer to have brown noise and rain noise at the same time oscillating at different frequencies This only plays one selected noise The developers have preselected noises that they ve combined into one but you re limited by what they ve already combined Also since they ve changed the two noises into one you can t have them with different settings volumes end times etc The alarm sounds are mostly nice I think you ll find one you like and just stick with that but there s still no ability to add your own Go with what they have that s your only option         It s okay Just okay Shaolin Dave

This is a great app that provides a wide variety of background noises I love using it as white noise when I go to sleep my personal favorite sounds are rain on a tent and airplane and it also works great in the background as I m working on projects Another bonus is that you can set a timer or an alarm so that it turns off on at certain times Thank you Sleep Pillow for offering a great app                     Highly Recommend bucky.barnes

Worrying about not being able to sleep only added to the pain and stress that was already keeping me awake for days on end I stopped focusing on anything to do with sleep and asked my body to allow me to rest so I could heal When I stopped demanding sleep from myself the stress fell off me like a pair of pants 5 sizes to big for me An hour or two before I want to unwind I put the Sleep Pillow app on in the back ground of whatever else I m doing This helps me enter a more relaxed state Even if I do not achieve sleep the rythmic sounds of nature lull me into a restorative resting state Pain eases up and my mind slows down When I do doze off for 10 20 minutes I wake feeling like I slept for hours because I stopped stressing out over not being able to sleep I gave my body permission to do whatever it needs to do All I asked of myself is that I achieve enough rest for my body to heal so I can function and live my life I m still a severe insomniac but I am much calmer more productive and much much happier Thanks for this little app It is helping me take the first steps toward sleep fitness                     Be Still the Raging Insomnia Debra.Lee
