SleepyTimer is a simple, uncluttered menu bar application that allows you to set a timer and have your Mac go to Sleep, Shutdown, Restart or Log out when the timer runs out. Useful if you are ...
I don t know if it s the app or the Mac that pops up a confirmation window when the timer ends but it totally defeats the purpose of the app I just purchased this timer to limit my kids usage of the Mac by automatically logging them out after a certain amount of time I limit it with a kitchen timer now but the temptation is too great for them to ignore reset the timer Of course when I tested the timer a confirmation window popped up with the option to cancel the logout action Yes the action will automatically continue after 60 seconds but that is plenty of time for my kids to click the cancel button So this timer will not work for my purpose Please include a checkbox in the Preference window to NOT have a confirmation window when the timer ends or someone let me know of a timer app that doesn t have this problem         Confirmation window defeats my purpose for needing a timer Lowlevelstatic
This app works There s an option for sleep restart log off and shut down The on screen timer is great but some of the things I do need exact time allotments like 4 minutes and 45 seconds and I don t want to wait 45 seconds to set an alarm for 4 minutes just so it can be precise This app doesn t have an option to use seconds yet and it would be great to add that feature Other than that and if you don t care about seconds PERFECT                 Epic just one request Peatree2
the timer can t be changed after the first time you set a time i set the timer to 42 minutes and now it doesn t matter what new time i set the timer to the timer always does 42 minutes restarting the application did not help not a useful app at this point     time won t change ortakus
