Overall I absolutely love this app It is truly revolutionary and I m really excited to see what the future has in store for this app However when viewing the score on my iPad I would love to be able to stand my iPad up vertically to view the entire page of sheet music not just in landscape mode Also I wish I could swipe away the area for the volume tempo transpose etc section or swipe to make that section smaller so I can take advantage of the full screen of the iPad when viewing the sheet music not just 70 to 80 of the iPad screen Also hopefully one day when uploading a song from my iTunes library that it will also be able to load the melody for the score and not just the chords But great job on this App                     This App is unbelievable holyholly22

Played classical for years as a child Now 40 decided to pick up the CSP 170 for my family and myself Can connect wirelessly to iPhone or iPad It is the definition of what a smart piano should be Yet the piano still looks clean and classic The app can use better user interface but for the most part it s awesome As a regular piano it s great But with this app it becomes something a lot more Sheet music onscreen multitrack recording multiple options for accompaniment layered notes with other instruments with octave options streaming lights list goes on Even with out the app the CSP is awesome But this app really makes it worth it                     New standard Strong to Very Strong

Like the concept and current functions work well with our new CSP 150 Like other reviewers I was caught out that it does not work with tunes from Apple Music so was a little frustrated I had to reinstall and use ITunes to transfer over mp3 songs for the first time in 4 years Integration with Spotify would be even better btw like some of my DJ equipment apps Also my 13 yr old son immediately got into recording his own compositions which is awesome and it was tricky to figure out how to export them to other devices Hopefully those minor annoyances will be fixed in future upgrades Overall I really like the combination of iPad and piano as it keeps the piano free of too many controls and looking clean I ve been inspired to learn the piano myself for 1st time in 40 years Thanks                 A Good Start Nice concept PAJ99

I just received a Yamaha Clavinova CSP 170 yesterday and was eager to try out this essential app to go with the piano The app doesn t disappoint as it unlocks features often found only in the higher end and more expensive CVP Clavinova line These include a wide variety of realistic instrumental voices multi track recording and auto accompaniment styles that analyze your playing to simulate a backup band or orchestra accompanying you The most innovative feature is the app s ability to take songs from your iPad s music library and generate an interactive chord chart for you to play along with While the chord analysis isn t perfect it is amazing how far the technology has come When it does not analyze the harmonies correctly I like how you can go in and easily edit the chart when you know the chord just isn t right These are all features found in Yamaha s other Chord Tracker app but Smart Pianist takes it to a whole new level by quickly generating a digital sheet music score that can be customized to the song s style and pianist s ability It took some getting use to the instrument s built in Stream Lights but this can be a very handy practice tool for users that need extra assistance in finding the correct keys to play I commend Yamaha on putting together a winning combination of software and a fine musical instrument                     Amazing innovation for digital pianos Mario Ajero

This is an amazing technology that I am really excited about but unfortunately it currently does not work with songs from Apple Music It is great for songs that I have purchased but because nearly my entire music library is downloaded from Apple Music this is nearly useless for me I get a message saying error 102 whenever I attempt to select a song from Apple Music             Doesn t work with Apple Music Tlew007
