I use this all the time for taking notes and recording ideas I would be really jazzed if the dev concentrated on developing Audiobus Dropbox and Soundcloud support as well as fine tuning the actual app The new icon is an eyesore especially in iOS7 much preferred the original simplistic one Most used app

Im a graduate student and have to do interviews as part of my course work I used it the same day I bought it with no problems Easy to use Id recommend it Great
I got this to record my Bible Study lessons in order to supply those that were absent a CD to assist them in maintaining continuity However the CAF format that is the only way to email When the file is burned in that format most CD players are not equipped to read the CD I have found no way to do a conversion back to a more readily compatible format For that reason only I cannot give a more hardy endorsement CAF format

I will say the software works as far as recording but needs better export options like google docs and Microsoft skydrive which would work a lot better Need more export options
Wave screen is absent replaced by solid yellow no ability to scroll through a recording No mention of this situation in Help No wave screen
I love this app Use it to record meetings I attend in which Im the note taker No more anxiety over missed information Very impressed that between the app and the iPad it records voices with clarity in a very large conference room I only need the basics but will spend time learning all the great features Great App
Ive been using this application to do inperson interviews and have even performed interviews with the interviewee on my iPhone in speaker mode Ive got to transcribe what I have but so far so good Works For Me

Excellent tool I use it to record business meetings and conferences It works perfectly fine with my iPhone as advertised Re a few of the reviews posted do not do justice to the product In the case of frustration it may be caused by a poor software program or alternately by an ignorant enduser Project Manager in OG
I tried a few apps but this one had the best sync and export options especially to make calendar items for quick memos etc Interface is pretty clean and uncluttered as well allowing for a quick learning curve Great app due to the extra export options

I use this recorder quite a bit in church to record services for my personal need to relisten to the messages Other than the recent problem with the recorder I have not had a problem Unless I am missing it if I do not tag how do I find a particular part in a message without listen to entire message again Love it

This app is awful Im getting a doctorate in clinical psychology and trying to use this app has been the worst and most difficult process of getting a graduate degree Completely user unfriendly Contrary to what it says you can only record in the app You cannot transfer anything to anything It says you can but good luck And if you upgrade or change the data you lose everything It says it saves thing to the cloud but good luck finding it Save yourself the agony and just skip this app and go to something that is actually useful I think iTunes should not let them put apps like this up As a professional in the mental health industry I recommend you avoid this application for your own mental health and well being Dont do it

This was a waste of money for me The description said the recording continues even while you open another app but that only holds true as long as the other app doesnt make sound or if you dont get a call I wanted to use it in conjunction with Dropbox A friend and I are writing music long distance He puts a guitar track on Dropbox and waits for me to add bass and vocals But as soon as I play his track Smart Recorder dumbly shuts off Not for me

Ive been using this app regularly for a long time and it works fine I record many meetings and can multi task to other apps and it continues to record It pauses when you receive a phone call but it warns you about it and then it resumes automatically I am able to export the audio and tags notes and post to our SharePoint Wmdows site It is just great Great app

I really like the fact that you can set the bit rate for the different ways you can usetransfer the recording email Dropbox etc Very useful
Works great Does a lot I use it to record band practice upload right to Dropbox and everyone has the recordings The only problem I sometimes have is that a recording will sometimes upload to Dropbox in a folder with two files in it One of the recording and one of some other related file I dont know why it sometimes does that but I still have the recording Great

No way to adjust for ambient sound on auto pause record only when sound occurs I prefer Recorder Pro by DAVA Not worthy
