App does informative concepts Very useful and I like the videos in smarttcasts                 SmarttCasts are good and useful

Really negative reviewers Who sits down and trashes an app designed to help kids catch up in school point by point Who here is getting paid to write reviews The app is not slow It does not crash This cannot be the first time app users have created an account before trying out an app In fact most educational apps need to be purchased before trial How many educational apps have you looked at This is an introductory app Yes there is one course now but its well known that there are more courses coming You complain about the list of topics how would you list the content available to the student or parent Most educational apps are designed this way In fact there are no educational apps designed for high school students that do not use lists to describe the content Ive reviewed most of them I know Search functions this isnt Google its an app The content in the app is fully searchable Sharing content from an app on Facebook or Twitter makes the content part of the public domain Not such a great idea agreed Inviting friends to use an app that is helping you do your homework is not dumb its smart Clearly the negative reviewers have no idea about the challenges that kids face in actually learning their course material Have you ever thought about what happens to a kid who gets a C or D on his math test What happens is that the course marches on leaving him in the dark about 30 or more of the course content He falls 30 behind with each test and by the end of the year has failed to master the content Add this up year after year and you get kids that give up They give up Is that what you want What are you doing to make a difference in this problem This app will make a difference It gives kids the content they need to actually understand the material in the classroom in a fun and interesting way on their mobile device The criticism of the Cool Tips is unwarranted Have you tried to Google health tips Did you come up with a similar list of health tips Im a health care professional I think the Tips are fun and make healthy lifestyle suggestions that are of interest to high school and college students These negative reviewers are clearly not innovative thinkers Good thing they deleted the app                 Excellent education app

Many reviewers here must have some relation to the developer because they are profusely defending it Look the app has problems It has in fact crashed for me in a few of the Smarttcasts I dont consider this really a problem because its a new app and the crashes happened only twice but the app in general is not very interesting Im a student and I want to learn but the narrator is terribly dull and I quickly became bored I suggest getting someone better to narrate     Honesty

Math lessons provided in the app are very good and its easy to learn its easy to read and understand for the kids as well Looking forward to more courses                 Educative App

Im a college freshman and I found this app very helpful I especially liked the sleep tips and exercise tips as those are two things I find myself struggling with both of those things quite a lot Time Management has been a little hard for me sometimes as I try to balance my social life and my school life so I found the study skills tips for that very helpful Overall I really like the app so far and I think it will be extremely helpful for any high schoolcollege students dealing with any of these things and more Definitely worth a download                 Satisfied College Student

SmartNoter team I encourage you to carefully research Khan Academy and try to understand their strengths and weaknesses and from that point assess whether you can build something exponentially better than what they currently offer otherwise I am afraid that you wont be able to succeed in todays hyper competitive market After reviewing this app for a few minutes my son and I were beyond disappointment we thought this was a joke     Needs serious improvement

I downloaded and started using this app during the Thanksgiving break After giving browsing it for a few days I can not wait for the break to be over so I can tell my students about it I work in a school that has many students who struggle and many who have been told by previous teachers that they wont be able to succeed until they try harder and take the time to learn previous material Unfortunately those kids are left to their own devices to do that work since the class moved on without them Smartnoter is exactly what those kids need And its on their OWN DEVICES As a teacher I know the realities of what kids face when they get home and need extra help The Internet is there but its not what it should be yet There is no cohesiveness or ability to put learning in the kids hands Even Khan Academy leads kids through a method that someone else thinks should be using This app allows kids to move through their own paths and at their own paces And its on a tool that every one of them always has within an arms reach Every teacher seeks to differentiate his or her instruction This app will be an imporrtant tool in making that a reality                 Cant wait to implement

this app has many problems including an ugly icon few lessons and no good sharing stuff also the website of the developer has an interview that looks like an impressive tv interview but they are clearly reading from scripts and if you look up the company that made it they are a company that does interviews to make products look impressive really that desperate     Not a fan

I have to sayI agree with that negative review even though they were unnecessarily harsh I agree that being forced to sign up at the start is a bad ideathere are plenty of apps that do that but it doesnt mean it is a good idea Also I just found that the app didnt inspire me to learn Long lists dont do that There has to be a more interesting way to show it Also sharing to Facebook and Twitter does not mean that we would have to leave the app iOS has built in sharing controls that share from within the app never leaving it to post elsewhere Frankly including that feature makes sense for the company since more could find the app that way Maybe some people will like it but for me not so much     Needs work

I love that kids and parents like me can find prerequisites in math Everyone else I show this to wishes the app was available when they were in school Looking forward to seeing more content                 Wish I had this in high school

this app is obviously very detailed which is why there are several lists so that you can find exactly what youre looking for in a topic the app also has a lot of material to come so I think we can expect much more in the app soon enough                 Very nice app

As a middle and high school math teacher I think that this app has great potential to help students It provides concise easytounderstand explanations that students can access quickly without needing to look at textbooks watch long videos or sort through lists of websites which may or may not be helpful It will be a great resource for brushing up on or relearning forgotten skills I am looking forward to seeing more courses                 Excellent Resource

This is honestly one of the worst apps I have encountered for education Its slow it crashes the content is lacking and the design is horrendous It already has one positive rating but judging from the previous ratings from that user it looks like that review as paid for Let me walk you through it 1 The MathScience tab you get one course To view it you must sign up for an account Really I dont want to be forced to create an account to test out app Once you do sign up for an account going into a course provides you with a long list of topics Tap on one and you enter another long list Tap on one in that you get another list Thats no way to design an app The app also has a built in search that really isnt very smart You have to search for the exact terminology that the app uses otherwise nothing will show up The app also has something called SmarttCasts which really should be called SmartCasts but almost all of those seem to be coming soon If they arent ready dont show them If you want to share something from the app you can just share a simple link on Twitter and Facebook Instead you have to get your friends to sign up so you can share it to them within the app Now thats just dumb The flashcards really need work The colors chosen clash but the scrolling mechanism within the cards is all wonky Basically the app is a bunch of web pages contained within each other It doesnt feel like a native app Oh and why is the standard swipe to go back behavior throughout the iPhone not in this app 2 The Cool Tips tab Again a list within a list within a list of pretty useless tips Clearly someone just google health tips and added them in 3 The RecentSaved tab is slightly better than the parts of the app but if you tap on a recently viewed item it plops you into the MathScience tab Dont do thatkeep it within the tab I selected Its confusing otherwise The app also takes the creepy approach and shows you the exact time you viewed a certain item Not need to display that stuff The saved page uses the built in Mail apps compose icon to edit which makes no sense And thats the app It needs a tremendous amount of work to fix it and I dont think it is worth it Ive deleted it     Truly pathetic app

Content needs work as a student I think the content is basic and should be expanded Obviously more content will be added but I question the decision to launch it with so little     Content is lacking

This app is very informative and has lots of useful functions It helps my study a lot Looking forward to more courses                 Very helpful
