Dont bother downloading this app The check deposit feature is hardly works Check takes forever to deposit Want to try to pay your bills All it says is Login to set up accounts I am logged in There is no way I could be more logged Actually everything about this credit union is terrible I am leaving BECU here I come Worst Credit Union Ever
The only feature that differentiates this from the mobile website is the check deposit and it is terrible Had to retake the photo 10 times and app is much slower to process I also use BECUs appit is much better something to try and improve to match Only unique feature is horrible check deposit
I deposited a check to pay bills on Saturday Its Monday night now and it still hasnt cleared Thats a problem I could have driven to an ATM if I had known it would have taken this long There is no warning before you deposit telling you it could take up to three days There was a confirmation email after I deposited telling me that it would take that long I bank at other places where the check clears right then or in 20 min I am very disappointed with this app Still Waiting
Great job SMCU Simple but effective Gets the job done
I was so excited to have this I use my Chase app all the time to deposit checks So of course when I saw this one I was excited to do the same thing But no It never works Ive been able to deposit 1 out of 3 Theres always a problem It thinks my extremely flat check has been folded so it wont take it Or theres app problems and you go through the whole process only for it to not accept it Or it does accept it and then two days later you get an email that your deposit was declined due to a bad picture Horrible Doesnt work
Since I first got this app a couple of years ago many features and functions have been added and improved upon It is quick and easy and my transactions show up immediately I can view checks transfer money and pay bills I almost never need to log on to their computer site I would bet that they will continue to add to the app and build on their improvements Most Improved

This is a very nicely designed app clean userfriendly However the new mobile check deposit feature needs attention Other credit union apps make the deposit available immediately as if it were an ATM deposit with same limitations on amount SMCU forces you to wait 13 days before you even see the deposit listed not even a pending If you fix that youve got a 45 star app great app except for delayed check deposit
Deposit went right in in a day and a half Easy to use even with shaky hands Works great
Love that they have an app however the mobile check deposit I was excited about is horrible Takes what seems like forever for the check to post and getting a picture It will accept takes so many tries I give up so I still sprig to deposit my checks they go in instantly dont get any picture error messages The other problem is bill pay it doesnt let you add a memo or edit a memo like it does on the computer So at this point the app is only good for checking my balance and I can do that through text So pretty useless Its a good start
Wow Terrible regression in mobile usability with latest version Someone decided responsive design with a single code base was more important than thinking through user needs on mobile platforms New version is slower and more confusing Some screens dont display necessary information due to text cropping Many more issues Taking this direction for the mobile app was a poor decision from a users POV Terrible usability with latest version
So glad SMCU has invested in a mobile app Works well and is streamlined Id love to have a check scanning function for deposits like BECU Finally
It does not give you detailed information on credit card transactions or current balance You need to log in to a computer to do that Also you cannot make a payment from another bank to it Its ok

SMCU thank you so much for making this app I have been waiting for it for an extremely long time It works great and its very simple and intuitive to use just a few tweaks here and there I think it will be absolutely perfect Long over due APP THANK YOU
Glad this exists So much easier then having to get on the web Now if only they could add deposit addition where you can photograph the check we would be right up there with the rest of em Dig it
I downloaded the new version and cannot get past the Online Agreement page The app just shuts down and I have to reenter all my info and a new security code Then I get to the Online Agreement page and it shuts down again Ive deleted and reinstalled the app turned my phone onoff talked with two service agents and its still not working Please Fix Latest Version
This version is unusable Its just a mobile version of the new website which is also unusable Previous version was quick and convenient to use Very disappointing Huge step backwards
Simple and easy to use So excited to have a mobile app All thats missing is the remote deposit option which should be coming this spring At last
This newer version is not user friendly at all Half my screen is cropped blurry text and crashes often The app and website upgrade needs to be redone this is just ridiculous Old app was better Horrible upgrade
Latest update is a step backwards Interface is cluttered graphics are blurry almost has too much functionality Its like they crammed the entire website into the app Ugly bloated
