SMS Export Plus - Backup SMS and iMessages to your PC

The first thing i loved about this app is its simplicity I got to save all my messages to my Mac in few steps The instructions are very clear and i found the app design very neat and sleek Great job                 Works great

Pretty coolI regularly restore firmware on my iPhone so backing up important data is necessary and important to meThis app meets all my requirementsI find it really usefulconvenient and easy to useI can easily save my messages in excel format into my PC and browsing and search is very easy because of clear interfaceIt works great for meHighly recommend              Good app

Followed the directions wasted two hours Gave up and purchased iExplorer instead Got that upandrunning in 5 minutes Wish I could get a refund since this was a total waste     Couldnt get it to work

Crashes when I try to export Wont do anything     Crashes doesnt work

Requires you to download something into your PC Wont simply export them to your email Totally lame I want a refund     Not as described

The windows desktop version doesnt work at all and the iPhone version exports a big blank excel file I want my 399 back     I feel violated

I like the app it is a bit techy for some but all in all it works well I wish it had a few other features but all in all It did the job              A bit techy

A year and a half ago I purchased sms export for 499 to be able to export text after divorce I still use the app frequently until recently I tried and saw it was replaced with a group messaging app I read so many other reviews that say the same thing The developer needs to put it back to what people paid for I will not pay again        Not what I paid for

The app did work but was not very userfriendly and required some troubleshooting to get up and running I was suspicious that it might be a scam at first given the credentials it asked for and the fact that it requires you to download thirdparty software on your computer but it does exactly what it says it will Probably not worth 4 but not too bad              Functional if slightly confusing

This program was very difficult to navigate through Then when it came down to saving was halfway through download to excel and computerexcel sat in not responding mode forever Not happy at all     Difficult to use

After spending many hours late into the night trying to set up my computer to allow this app to communicate with it I gave up I found a different app which requires no additional hackery All of these methods require that you backup your messages onto iTunes without encryption Do that Then find an app or program for your COMPUTER Dont waste time with iPhone apps for this purpose They do not make the process quicker It took me only a few minutes to complete the process with the other program and I didnt have to do any fancy stuff All Im saying is keep looking for another method iPhone apps just make a simple process extra confusing     Keep looking

After much time researching and trying to grasp how this app works I finally figured it out It is a bit too complicated and pricey for only being able to export SMS to my computer But now that I have learned how to use it I my as well keep it              It Does Work

Hijacked my sms text export and became this text to group app Fraud     Same thing happened to me

I also wasted much time and money Didnt know I had to be a software engineer to get this to work Dont waste your money IExplorer was soooo easy     I AGREE WITH REVIEW 1

This app totally hijacked apparently through your update process and replaced my perfectly good working SMS Export Plus that paid for and used on my iPhone 4s for almost a year I have no use for this SMS to Group and I cant find SMS Export Plus anywhere I got a related app that purports to do the same thing and more but it doesnt work I want my SMS Export Plus back or my money and a good app that works with windows 819822 update Ok so in fairness this app apparently does what it says it will do And if you need SMS Export Plus the support here will help you get it to work for Windows from you PC ONLY not by WiFilocal network connection anymore They are working on further solution     This app useless to me Didnt even ask for it

Why would an app that was purchased for the specific purpose of backing up my text messages be updated into an text message program Why did they think I would need a program to send text when I already have that ability Should I not have be given the option to add this new appfeature to my phone while keeping what I paid for Now this app does not communicate with Bitvise SSH server nor the SMS Export Plus on my desktop Please give us option to uninstall updates or redo the app so it does what we bought it for I want to be able to save my text messages again     Disturbing

This app does not work for iPhones after countless hours trying to download from three different computers I could not get this application to work I even worked with their IT department several times to help me Was unable to get any text messages to export waste of time and money     Save your time and money it doesnt work

Working from an iPhone I followed all the instructions to the letter and I am not technologicallychallenged I am a little concerned that this app is fraudulent based on the info it wanted but I trusted the Apple App Store Im deleting this worthless app     Crashes Continuously

Amazing This app is a great way to move SMS between phones Ive been using this app for quite some time now I really think its an indispensable tool and I love it It backed everything up as PDFExcel or directly to my pc and then allowed me to restore it on the new phone Everything appears to have moved over and is tracked under the right conversation in the correct contacts and all my images cam through Nice design and very easy to use Its really great                 Works exactly like its supposed to

My reason for the poor rating is that First the App on Iphone asks the ip address or computer name Username and Password Not at all friendly Why cant it be exported right to phone Second the PC resident app that you can download is easy to use after backing up the Iphone to itunes on the PC The problem is again that I assumed that it would export an excel file Not at all clear when purchasing I had planned on exporting then moving to file to a friends computer that has excel or use the free excel viewer from Microsoft In fact this app requires that you have excel installed even to do the export There are two possibilites the developer is unable to communicate clearly what is required before purchasing or is just misleading people Either was a horrible experience     Poorly Documented

I purchased this app almost a week ago to download my texts I needed these ASAP for a deadline this coming week and I was unable to get the SSH server setup on my laptop to connect to this app Im a tech and has problems so I can imagine how others feel trying to navigate this app without any support They say they respond within 24 hours but that simply isnt the case I dont recommend this app     No Support

I wasnt sure if I would be able to get it to work correctly from what I read in the reviews However after a couple of tries I finally figured it out Being able to save my texts is important for certain documentation I had hoped to print them out there were countless pages and it would have cost me an arm and a leg with ink and paper The texts are all in one big file and so far I have found no way to separate them I actually backed up my phone then deleted all of my text messages except for the ones from one person It worked but now the app keeps closing before I can save the files to a PDF At this point Im thinking I shouldve just taken screen shots of the texts and printed those because it would have taken me a lot less time to do that           Could be better

Customer service is not proactive and diddt answer my question There are several TextSMS backup apps our there this one didnt impress me     underwhelmed
