I thought you have to be a hacker or something in order to do this Pretty Awesome                 This is freaking awesome

But that is what wifinder Is for     It is bad but it would be good if you could connect to them

I really dont know why I bought this I thought I would be able to see some peoples stuff on thier coMps It does what it says though              Works I guess

I love this app I will use it extensively in my IT job to get a fast and accurate view of the network I would have gladly paid more for the quality of Snap My only gripes are the inability to export the scan data to email but hopefully that will come next I also wish Snap saved individual network scans for future reference It would be nice to either set the subsuper net scan range or see it after it is autodetected                 Excellent network scanner

I went to the bar and I could see another iphone named EricsiPhone and then I found a network printer and told it to print a test page Very fun to see whats around me esp on public wifis Easily worth a couple bucks              Real fun

I thought this was a neat and handy utility and it is quite capable so long as you are scanning a small network On a large network like where I work there is just too much information and no way to sort through it Snap lists according to IP number and there are no other choices like sorting by device type and no search function or a way to limit the IP range Also at least on my network it could not find the computers in my office they are connected through a switch but have their own IP numbers I dont know if this is an iPhone problem but Snap also cannot initiate a connection to WiFi you have to make sure you are connected before scanning In short a cool and potentially useful app that needs work I will certainly keep it on my iPhone for now and look for improvements version 101 as of this review           Has potential stay tuned

Nice app for showing devices on a LAN and the services those host provide I like that it shows the port number for those services The only fault I can find with the program is that it does not list the iphone or iPod Touch you are using on the host list The more you know about networking the better you like this app              Great little app

I am a Network Engineer who works at client sites all day This network scanner will come in very handy I like that it has the smarts to figure out the manufacturer of the device Feature Request for Developer 1 It would be nice if you could override the IP network it is scanning and have the option of entering a manual IP Range 2 It would be nice to have the app make a sound when it was done scanning                 Great IT Tool

Hey I got Snap to today and its really cool  Thanks for making such a cool app at a great price I noticed a couple of things Id like to see in future updates  First it doesnt seem to be able to find pure AppleTalk clients legacy Macs  The Mac seems to need TCPIP over Appletalk to be discovered  It would be great it Snap could find pure AppleTalk hostsclients Also when I shut off some of my machines they still showed up in my list even after I rescanned several times  I had to restart my router to make them go away  Id hope in a future release this will be more dynamic Other than that great app and thanks           Good Start

It works as advertised glad I got it Suggestion have the option of showing your iPhone included in the list of hosts              Great app

I love the port scanner featureI see what services are running and then I sshvncetc their computer from my iPod I also use this to prove to my friends and buisiness owners how easy it is to hack their wireless router from my iPod I would like to see some basic security testing functions on here though eg some bruteforcer like hydra Great app                 AmazingI use this for so many pranks

Works well and quickly I hope that so many features are not added that it slows the application down I dont know about the low ratings by others This is not a wifi scanner it can and only needs to show hosts on the networks youre connected to The feature to jump directly to a browser to manage network devices is just great Now for the hopes Hope for a bit more port information as others have mentioned dont make it a full portmapper since that would slow it down and thats what PCs do better anyway Hope for mDNS DNS DHCP info Would love to have the option to list all devices on the network dont want it to kick off automatically if Im on a big network but being able to see all printers iPhones PCs etc on a small network would be a great feature Add these features and I would ecstatic and even to pay more for this application Bottom line great tool that works well A few more features would make it awesome              Great app didnt know whether to rate it a 4 or 5 star Hoping for more features

This is much better at finding servers on a LAN than any computer utility Ive tried I fee really sorry for the developers seeing less than 5 stars because so few people understand what this utility is supposed to do You must already be on a network to scan the network IT IS NOT A NETWORK STUMBLER I agree with other reviews it would be nice if it had support for more connection protocols than just port 80 I dont know if its the operating systems limitation or the programs that doesnt let it open port 21 in an FTP program or 22 in an SSH program Of course if they didnt let you open port 80 in the web browser than I wouldnt have even considered this feature so better one port than zero                 Simple Network Area Prober

I just used it to scan my home network and just learned by using this app that my networked laser printer has a builtin web server for configuring the printer This app then let me browse my printers web site Too cool                 Works fine for me

This is a great app that just does what it claims Id like to see an upgrade to look better on iPad                 Simple does exactly what you need

Used snap on a large campus WIFI network where I could visibly see other wireless devices laptops etc Yet snap found nothing EDIT After update everything works pefect Awsome job guys fast on the fix to                 Student

This app works perfectly on my iPod touch 2G Totaly with the money DO NOT listen to those bad ratings This is worth 5 stars                 Great app

Ive tried it repeatedly in different locations and find it pretty useless At home it will find my own network but none of the others around me that my MacBook iPhone or WiFinder pick up If I try it away from home it comes up empty even though my phone and WiFinder will identify a number of sites For others it seems to work but not for me     Useless

This is a nice app that scans the local subnet The portscan provides good feedback I would like to see a third screen added that would sort hosts by service or port I would also like the screen to have an option to exclude ports Overall for me the app is useful enough to keep              Nice little app not quite finished

Downloaded across cellular just outside range of my home network as I was pulling up to my house Just as I pulled I my driveway I hit scan and within a few seconds I saw my network to include router all wired PC my wireless laptop Xboxs and iPhones Been using it to catch my neighbors trying to jack my WiFi as well Totally worth the price              Great application

This app hasnt been updated in ages so me and on behalf of all the others that have this app would like an update It would be greatly appreciated Thanks     Update Needed
