I use SoloStat123 and SoloStat Live so I m an ardent SoloStat fan I believe you don t know what you don t know unless you measure it SoloStat is great for matches but I tried using it for practices and it just didn t work so I gave up Something was needed for monitoring practices Frequently I would go to the Apple Store to search for an app for rating my players in drills and games especially mini games etc But nothing Finally now there s SoloStat Touch Practice And it s just that touch the player and the skill rating Just two touches and the stat for that skill is collected Kool Easy If you re rating one player over and over it s just one touch the particular skill rating On the phone it s super easy and non intrusive You don t need a bulky iPad ugh In fact I rarely use my iPad as I do nearly everything on my phone I m a power user SoloStat Touch fits the bill for practices and does it very well It very easy to setup and to use right out of the box In a very short time you re up and running collecting detailed stats on your players at tryouts practices or in scrimmages If you decide to narrow your evaluation at tryouts or practices to a few players and a few stats to evaluate you select just the players and the skills you want to evaluate The order you select the players is the order that they appear in your template and similarly with the rating You can quickly select a single player in your subset to focus on one at a time by pinning the rating selection to just that single player So all you do is stat the skill ratings After you ve selected enough stats on that player deselect her and select another player to evaluate It s seamless This is great for a player repeating the same skill sets For example during a match a non playing teammate could just evaluate the receive ratings of her team Or a mom would stat her libero daughter passing and digging during a match You can built a bunch of templates with relevant skills and players that you can duplicate and modify as necessary for another group of players and skills Or you might duplicate a template to repeat the same skills on a different occasion so that you can to view how her numbers are improving over time Unfortunately one can t copy a template to another roster group However I find that if I took a screenshot of my skill rating template then I can easily and quickly recreate the same layout with an entirely different activity selection or team roster With WebReport the stats are accumulated over some or all of your statting seasons as you may select which sessions to include in the accumulations The app does all the heavy lifting It s intuitive to use I hate reading directions I prefer to figure it out With this app it s super easy Also I like an app that if I haven t used it in a long time it s easy to figure out how to use it again without resorting to heroics to get back on task However after you ve mastered the basics it s recommended that you read the instructions to pick up some nuances that you may have missed or that may make stat taking easier I highly recommend Touch Practice Now there is something that makes statting tryouts and practices easy Go for it VBNE1                     SoloStat Touch Practice VBNE1?
