I loved and used this app for several months but now somehow it has lost the ability to insert chords or any insert function That pretty much makes it worthless I don t know if it just hasn t kept up with IPad updates or what but that s pretty ridiculous Now I gotta go back to OnSong or something VERY frustrating     What happened Clamfrost

I m a musician worship leader and I as well as the rest of our worship teams purchased this app to easily create song sheets eliminate paper waste easily transpose songs and share sets and songs between us about 25 individuals It worked great for a while we were able to airdrop sets and songs but with a recent update the export feature crashes the app EVERY SINGLE TIME The app is great beside that fact We have guitarist and bassists who use Bluetooth pedals to change pages But since the app crashes started we ve had to take a longer route to share songs by copying the songs in the correct format and emailing them which is a pain to say the least I would suggest to anyone looking to purchase this app to wait until they have a fix for this The app description states they are working on Songhub 2 but we are required to purchase a new app we will not be getting the new version We bought this one expecting it to work as described and it does not I would hope to hear something from the developers about this issue Here s to hoping     From Excited to very annoyed StephenBillingsley

I bought SongWriter HD which was this developers original song writing app When I contacted the developer regarding a question I had He told me he sold us to another developer who was not supporting the app Then he suggested I buy his new and improved app I did so thinking it would be as good and maybe a little better than the original app It is not It s limited you cannot email ideas to another song writer or collaborator it is not intuitive at all Very very frustrating Further I contacted the developer when I was running into trouble I have not heard from him yet I heard from him right away when he wanted to sell me his new product But now my questions about this new product go on answered Stick with songwriter HD Do yourself a favor do not buy this app     Mistake Hating Facebook right now

I m definitely not happy I spent money on this app but I couldn t find enough information about it in the description so I put my best foot forward and took the leap of faith I was hoping for an app where I could tab out my music Chords are okay for some but they don t really do it when you re wanting to log some lead guitar Do your homework before you drop the money You may be better off just recording yourself on a voice note and tabbing songs out on a computer That s my situation and I ve wasted 7 for an app I never intend to use again Don t make the same mistake     Not For Everyone Nevets_us

I invested a large chunk of time in Simons last songwriter ap I liked it a lot but he sold it and they stopped updating it so now my iPad can t even record on the ap anymore Also I bought it for my iPhone but I couldn t sync the libraries so I have two different lists of songs and song ideas Large lists I m interested in this songhub ap and I bought it but not sure what to do with the hundreds of songs I have in his old ap If I sound a little PO d and frustrated it s because I am I ve tried a handful of other songwriting aps but they were a waste of time I still find myself using voice memo and notepad because they email and message in a usable format Hopefully this songhub ap is my last stop on this frustrating journey             Gonna give it a try Song Ninja

I have invested in three versions iPhone iPad and Mac They all worked so well that I eventually uploaded 217 songs Then all went to hell Since iOS 9 the mobile apps crash every time I leave them They resume after deleting the app and reinstalling Which I have to do every time I want to use it The Mac version is easier to fix Just have to log out and back in Log out because when I open the application all songs are gone I have not found any source of help from the programmer The help function is nothing more than a FAQ I ve identified the maker but have not been able to reach I d like to hear if anyone has any information about the status of this product     Avoid this constantly crashing app peter8lloyd

I like a lot about this little app but needs a bit more for me to actually use it It looks great for individual use or sharing with others that are all using this app but for creating PDFs to share with a diverse non techie group not so much First very minimal control over song sheet formatting type size style I really like the two column display but when you output to PDF it reverts to one column so your one page sheet becomes two Next I can t find a way to display chord diagrams as part of the song sheet and or to export them with the PDF This is critical for sharing with non professional musicians         Promising but needs more Rollin T

I have spent about 20 dollars downloading and trying all the songwriting apps out there and this one beats them all by far Issue When creating a custom chord the app immediately crashes 5 stars for sure when this gets fixed                 Best one Jayzzzer

This is by far and away the best lead sheet generator and songwriting tool I have ever used For the past few years I ve been an Evernote junkie for songwriting jotting down ideas and working on chord arrangements While I loved Evernote and will still use it for some songwriting stuff SongHub will now be my major songwriting app Right now the company seems to be new and they are going through some marketing issues They would be worth spending a good chunk of change on a web video to really demo and smooth and powerful this songwriting tool is For example they don t mention it in the description at least I didn t see it at the time But this chord uses the classic Chord Pro bracketing format for chords However if you re converting from a word processor or Evernote like me and you have lined up your chords over the lyrics it recognizes this and automatically converts it for you This is the song writing app everyone has been waiting for Is it perfect Nope Is it light years ahead of everything I ve wasted money on so far OMG yes                     I never write reviews but WhizKid21

When I downloaded this I couldn t be happier I was so excited as a working musician that I could simply bring my iPad with this app to a gig and pull up any song I wanted I really wanted to take all my hard work from making the charts to all my songs from word into songhub It s not easy user friendly in that respect only and songhub gives you ZERO help in trying to figure it out There are no instructions or help support that tells you exactly what to do This was a 30 app So I m hoping songhub will fix and help with this issue as I ve googled you tubed it and nothing I m at a standstill Looks like I ll have to enter them all manually bc the Internet search gives you garbage that you have to import and fix anyway Two HUGE improvements desperately needed Somewhere in the app there needs to be instructions on HOW to import doc pdf etc into songhub without modification Efficiently with Internet search kind of like ultimate guitar but imports correctly into the right format Great idea though Just fix those bugs and you ll get a 5star             Great idea but needs better doc to songhub tweets BS2105

I was thrilled to find this app I ll admit I never heard of it until the creators started following me on twitter After reading the product description I decided to give them a try To have one place where I can put all my songs and even record song ideas I was ecstatic I have dozens of songs which I usually type in Notes and or print out and it would be great to have an app with all my songs in one place However after I downloaded the app I noticed that in order to have more than 10 songs in the app you have to subscribe Pay them two bucks and you can have all the features and ability to have more than 10 songs in the app for one month And it goes up from there Subscribing to the app also unlocks all the features I was hoping for and which were advertised like syncing all my songs across all my devices and gee having all my songs in one place Needless to say I m not very happy with this app I would ve preferred that the app cost 15 for all the features including unlimited song storage rather than a free app that forces you to subscribe If I had known you would have to subscribe then I wouldn t have even bothered It s too bad that this developer s first review of their new product is a negative one but I wanted to put it out there that the very feature I wanted and which was advertised having all your songs in one place can t even be accessed without having to subscribe to the app Better to know that upfront I think     A wonderful idea but why can t I just pay 15 upfront for all the features darkillumine
