This app has one of the best and friendliest music communities I have ever dealt with It essentially is a community of musicians from all over the world of every genre and skill level posting up music or covers to share and collaborate with each other The SongTree idea happens after you share a song and someone adds something to your file because a branch comes off the original song leaving the original untouched with the new addition There are so many talented musicians in this app community that you literally don t ever know what direction your song will go which makes this an amazing app If you don t have other recording apps the provided recording feature can be a bit limiting but not stifling I record through n Track Studio Pro which is how I discovered this app The app itself has a few bugs like sample rates not matching correctly and crashing every now and then but these things haven t wrecked my enjoyment of collaborating with an amazing group of musicians and their customer support is very responsive and fix any problem discovered eventually It really has sparked inspiration motivation and encourages you to musically step outside your comfort zone                     Great Musical Community Fretless33

What songtree has meant to me and why I love to create write and play music I have for much of my lifetime I have done many things in music played many cool venues and recorded at some top notch studios in my travels Theres been many bands throughout the years and many opportunities Then something changed for me It was my health I ve had several back surgeries and lumbar fusions Part of being a stone mason I imagine and being heavily driven to succeed Well my surgeries left me with severe disabilities in my legs requiring the use of Afo knee high BRACES to walk right Being that I already suffered from severe depression this didn t help me at all And my drive to play out do shows small tours etc Were quickly becoming a thing of my past And that TO was depressing and upsetting TIL back in February of 2016 I took a chance on an app Called Songtree It offered pretty much everything I needed to record right at my phone or eventually iPad I eventually figured out how to use the interface And the fun began And now believe it or not I can collaborate with people from all over the world I strongly suggest this app To people of all ages and for many and any reason My playing night clubs is done But honestly I m having more fun then ever and I never even have to leave my house So a big thank you to Songtree for making such a special place The interface is very easy to use and I am not tech smart at all But they made it easy and it s always getting better cheers and I hope you get out of songtree what I have A whole lotta fun with some very talented people from all over the world Thanks again Songtree Chris Van Lyric Nov 15 2016                     ONE TREE MANY ROOTS CHRIS VAN Lyric

It s very awesome I love the app its my personal studio on the go it s is really cool I figured how to upload my own beats app to use it on my laptop I use the record on my phone that s really good I like it but I wanted to add an effect I want there to be autotune I contacted the people that of this app and they said they can t do it I m very upset so I would give 5 stars but there isn t auto tune                 Awesome but 匕ㄚＳ匕丹尺

Nice way to share your music Could use a tutorial on how to use the app though not very user friendly where the effects are concerned How to get started is a bit tricky if you re not used to record software or DAW apps I like it maybe they can add that in a upgrade Nice starting app overall                 Like the Idea Is Different DJ Diamond J

Why release an application publicly then proceed to make it invite only That just seems ludicrous to me Maybe they are trying to build false hype I don t know When I clicked to get an invite it informed me that there were currently 36 people ahead of me What are these 36 people and myself waiting for some sort of unexplained vetting process I feel I am being generous giving this app the neutral three stars But it just makes zero sense to me to not explain how a potential user gets invited or rather how long that they have to wait to be invited I normally would not review an application that I haven t used yet But this seemingly ludicrous barrier to even get into this application well I felt it deserved a mention to let other App Store users know that you cannot just download and use this application right off the bat If I ever do get let into the Songtree I will then update my review accordingly As it stands now though I am not sure that I would recommend an application that will not even let a user into it iPad Air 2 iOS 8 3             Invite Only Joshua D.

I asked for my invitation and got it Listened for a short while and I like the concept excellent but I am already in design mode Add a function to mix trak without playing but that might defeat the purpose of the concept Maybe a new app when this gets of the ground more I m delighted JpB             Promising Greatful 24

I ve used it less than 24 hrs so time will tell but this could be a 5 star app and just as easily be a total dud I got my invite and set up an account initially on my 6 I signed in using G But I can t open it on my iPad without requesting another invite Another problem I see is no integration with other apps I record everything on iPad using a Line6 sonicport Which means I use apps like Bias JamUp and POD for my amps and effects How am I supposed to overdub through your app without inter app audio or audio copy or even audiobus or audio share support Add support for any or all of those and this could be an incredible app             Reserving judgement Vanillawillis
