Ive had this app for about a month now on my 5 running iOS 7 Runs flawlessly My 17month old loves this app In the morning when she wakes up she goes right to my phone You instantly go into the app upon launch and have the choice of like 12 objects in a 3x4 array Common house and farm animals on the first page Wild animals birds musical instruments and household objects are on the other pages Touch an object and a picture of it appears If enabled default the name of the object is spoken Leave it open a little longer and the noise of the object plays Touch the same object again and get another picture different from the first My kiddo does not tire of this app If I could afford all apps by this developer I would buy them all today Needless to say the rest of the apps will be on the Christmas list this year Unless theres a sale any time soon hint hint developer P                 Beautiful and Entertaining

My son is hard of hearing and has some vision impairment He loves to listen to the sounds and look at all of the animals I was happy to learn the new update now has sight words added to the pictures I do think that the color of the words the greyish background and font style needs to be reconsidered for a young person learning to read AS WELL as a child who is visually impaired The font style needs to be a standard font used in textbooks a larger size and needs to have a enough contrast between it and its background color to be read I understand that you didnt want to cover the pictures with the words but the word box is too visually crowded to be read easliy If you squint while trying to read it you will see what I mean The strokes in the font are also too close together Otherwise I love this app back again Thank you so much for adjusting the font style It is so much better now I also agree with a couple of the therapists who commented about adding a sound identification feature to be used in Audio Visual Therapy Kids and adults with cochlear implants as well as kids with hearing loss would benefit by having an option to either choose from a few pictures to tell what sound is being played or even just having a way for the voicetext identifier to be delayed to allow for a guess Good work              My special needs son loves this app

There used to be 12 options on each page Now there ate only 4 Not the app I paid for Quite disappointed     Where did all the tiles go

I tried updating and it got stuck Deleted and tried redownloading and it is stuck again Help           Install trouble

All 3 kids have loved it as toddlers and preschoolers The app developers are diligent about the user experience and all updates have been made with the kid in mind The sound clips are lengthy and varied especially the music ones After 3 years with the app on my iPod touch its one of the few kid ones that made it into my new phone I like that the developers give tips on interacting with your child in the update notes as well as other useful information about iOS in general the triple click app lock setting is wonderful and not widely advertised as a feature of iOS 6 Thanks for the heads up Sound Touch                 Very engaging

My daughter loves this app I never downloaded the free version but paid for the full version right away Now with this newest update an advertisement pops up every single time I open the app Not cool I pay money so I dont have to see advertising and so my daughter doesnt click through to download and this is what my purchase gets me        Disappointed

This is an app that shows pictures of items in six categories domestic animals wild animals birds vehicles instruments and household items There are 12 items per category for example 12 animals in the domestic animals category including sheep duck horse frog goat etc When you touch an item cow for example it brings up a picture says cow and then plays a cow sound The name of the item is also displayed on the screen The best part is that there are five pictures and sounds per item for example five different pictures of a horse five different pictures of a sheep etc for a total of 60 images in each category This makes it very entertaining and kids dont get bored easily It is easy to navigate for little ones with large animal icons and a tap anywhere on the screen to move from a picture back to the menu or the option of an arrow Ds vocabulary and pronunciation have been greatly improved by this app There are also about 30 languages currently available                 Great app

This app has many great features for kids with disabilities It helps kids relate a cartoon character with a real picture Also a single touch advances the screen You can touch anywhere and not be taken out of the app by mistake You cant go wrong My teenage daughter has both physical and cognitive delays but apps that she is physically able to activate are made for children much younger usually less than 9 months old These apps can be very repetitive and not hold her attention This app is not at all repetitive and therefore holds her attention especially the musical instrument portion Great variety of musical genre The only drawback is that she touches what she wants multiple times This does cause the sound to start over with each touch It would be helpful if there were an option to stop multiple touches from restarting the response each time I also agree with an earlier review that it would be nice to have the category buttons at the top so they arent bumped while reaching for another picture It would also be nice to have a quiz option to allow it to be turned into a game But despite these things this is one of the best apps I have seen for kids with disabilities and for kids without disabilities                 Excellent for children with disabilities

We have had this app for about 6 months now and my 25 year old son still adores it Its simple in design but just perfect for the littlest kids As a child development professional I see a lot of value in it and as a parent I love that it keeps my child happy in a restaurant Highly recommended                 Best toddler app

Few things catch my 45 year old nonverbal autistic sons interest but for some reason he loves this app When hes having an episode this calms him down I had the free version for a few weeks but after seeing how much he loves it I purchased the full version well worth the                 Autistic son loves it

We had this app for my older daughter on the ipad and LOVED it My daughter learned so many new words and really enjoyed it When my second daughter came around we shelled out the 499 for the iPhone app only to learn that it doesnt say the word only the sound Thats pretty worthless and doesnt teach them much of anything Waste of money for the iPhone app unless you can figure out how to fix that     Worthless for iphone

When I was a kid if I wanted to see or hear this many things I had to visit a museum a zoo a safari and a bird sanctuary So pleased at how my 16 month old loves to experience all of the categories especially the cat Best baby app I own                 Call me old school

I loved this app until the latest update The information in the primate section is WRONG WRONG WRONG It labels chimps gorillas and orangutans as monkeys and they are NOT monkeys I contacted the creator and after several emails with flimsy excuses by him parents complain because those words are too hard to say but DROMEDARIES and MANY other difficult words are still in there he did admit that the information was wrong and agreed to fix it HE DID NOT FIX IT So not only does this company not care about the information that they put on their educative app they are liars who only care about making money and do not have pride in their product Maybe this is just one of the reasons out education system suffers Because some people take the easy way out and dont care Please dont support this company and DO NOT BUY THIS APP     Ignorant and inaccurate information

The app is actually very good but the developers are using upgrade announcement to get eyes focused on their pitch for their other apps This wouldnt be quite as annoying if the upgrades were significant features the app wasnt so enormous requiring large downloads or they didnt put the sales pitch as the first lines of the description of the upgrade        Upgrades are Advertisements

I work with children on the autism spectrum I use this app to teach generalization Even my typically developmental 18 month old granddaughter can be distracted and redirected using this app                 Worth the download

Im a speech therapist and I work with lowfunctioning clients Im not crazy about using apps for therapy but this one has so many applications that I use it almost everyday expressive vocabulary receptive vocabulary requesting intermittent reward matching The kids love it and I like that each item has several different sounds and pictures As a therapy tool it has more than paid for itself                 Best 5 Ive ever spent

Our girl is about 14 months and just loves this series Its a good buy for both the fun and the education She will walk around with the phone for 30 minutes at a time smiling the whole time Be sure you have a good cover on your phone and a carpeted area Also be sure to set the phone to Guided Access Settingsaccessibility options or otherwise they will be frustrated if they accidentally wander out of the app                 Fun and worthwhile for toddlers

My 10 month old loves this app He can point out the dog and cat sounds on his own I wish there was a way to know the names of the songs played in the music section as some of them are really nice We recently visited family and my 3 yr old nephew and 5 yr old neice were crowding to play it Edit baby is now one year old and still loves this app Edit my children finally grew out of this at 4 and 5 Thank you for such amazing apps they were always my childrens favorites and were always high quality and fun                 Great app

Let me start by saying I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app In future updates I would love to see an option for generalized categories When I want a child to learn monkey I am not ready to teach them Gibbon I understand that chimpanzees and gorillas are not really monkeys so limit the types if you mustbut I would like the option to teach babies the common word over specific species              Need generalizations
