Imagine my surprise when I was talking to a sound engineer for a local band and trying to show him a spectrogram of the system Every 3 seconds SoundCloud would disappear and a colorful pink and green full screen AppStore presentation of some garbage game called BubbleWitch came up and persisted until I forced both SoundLevel and AppStore closed Jamoke is properly named These jamokes have no souls much less pride Trash deleting Too bad too because the app was once fairly useful     BubbleWitch Adware Beware Ears ringing

Although this app could be used to make the iPhone into a mic for a computer the ads pop up every 5 seconds As a result a potential five star app becomes a one star for obnoxious advertisements     Horrible Ads ImagineMore11

So I just recently started playing a game called Garry s mod and I went online and notice how other players had spent like almost 200 bucks on mic and headphones just to talk but I am cheap so I found another solution and here are the steps bellow Step 1 download this app Step 2 get a double sided audio piece kinda like the ones on beats Step 3 plug one end into the mic jack on your computer and the other end into your iPad or iPod or Apple device Step 4 go in to the app and turn on airplane mode so that the game dosent have adds and there you have your free mic                     STOP READ THIS THIS COULD SAVE YOU MONEY Wwewwwwerrefdddddxdchfcf

Awesome free The only negative is that it peeks out at 107db Please fix add to this meter so it will measure up higher How high I don t know I max this out all the time but use it because it is not just a boring usual needle meter                 Visually stunning needs to go over 107db though VAPORofDEATH

I work in the noise and vibration field I had high hopes for this app It needs a frequency axis for both the FFT and the sonogram color map Also I suspect the dB meter is not A weighted either A bonus would be octave summations ex 1 3 octave The ability to record would be great too         For entertainment only Heavyfeet

This thing is a real time db meter oscilloscope sonogram and FFT generator all in one The app is simple to use and self explanatory to anyone familiar with basic dsp If your not just search for definitions of the above terms I can t believe this thing is free It only needs one thing frequency axis values for the FFT and sonogram if this was added this ap would be perfect                     Awesome ap Beefwellington III

This is a very good sound meter program with all the modes working well as they re supposed to As other reviewers have said the lack of scale marks on the frequency axes is a bit of a let down The color scheme on the sonogram on the other hand is gorgeous Since this is an audio program it would be a very good feature if the frequency axis could be log scaled as opposed to linear there are a lot of interesting sounds like the human voice that get squished at the bottom of the range at the moment             Good with room for improvement Balloonspec

This is more of a tool if you have a stereo of a large size You have to be educated in audio to use this it tells wave length and decibel reading With a microphone attached                     You have to know what a decibel meter is first Fan#somethinghigh
