Spark - Smart Email App for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and others

Like most who play with a promising app in the beginning they get excited and rush to rate it 5 stars I was tempted to do the same I held off and Im happy I did There are a lot of great features but I will focus on cons I use 3 emails with this app gmail aol and yahoo Lately app has been saying it cant connect to the server so I am not able to sendreceive any emails This has happened countless times I know it is an app issue because I have tested it by bringing up my same emails on my iOS mail account and on my MacBook Pro Also when I start reading an email an error message pops up saying this email has been deleted or moved It will then close the email out and that email will disappear from the inbox Moments later it will refresh your inbox and the same email will pop up as unread This gets very annoying as it is becoming increasingly frequent throughout the day There are several other issues I am noticing but I will stop here I own almost every single app this company has made and I am so disappointed that I have to rate this one low        2 Stars in current build 5 for what I can be

I almost never write reviews but this app is so great I had to Just download it and try it Its the only email app you ever need It combines the best features of other popular email apps and looks great doing it                 I dont hate my email anymore

Great app fast seems reliable but hope that they add a full screen landscape mode the ability to add folders Hope they read this              Nice but Hope

I like the concept However I dont think its better than Outlook just yet You should allow it to be used on landscape mode horizontally and you should be able to search for folders instead of having to go up and down your folder list to move an email to its respective folder Also users should have the option to add or remove emails from thread view If there is a prior email associated to the email you received the email should automatically be displayed below Not a have show history appear below           Add landscape mode and moving of emails to folders from sent

Spark seems to know how to sort whats important from whats not Great architecture design makes Spark one of the best client 3D enable iOS 9 is a plus and it performs beautifully on the Good job guys                 One of the best

I have tried about 10 different email Apps to date and have settled on Spark It fits my needs and workflow perfectly This app is a gem Integration and customization are super easy and superbly executed Sorting by attachment is phenomenal and in combination with Dropbox and Evernote hit the nail on the head for me Quick shortcuts fast replies smart inbox pinning of important emails and so many other features just make this flow and streamline my everyday email experience This app is soooo worth trying if you are looking for a new email client Love it and I think you will too Only reason I gave it four stars and not five is I need landscape in my email Five stars when this implemented              Fantastic

Very slow to get the new messages sometimes loading took forever Design is really nice Please fix the buggy of getting new messages and we need a native app for Apple Watch           Notification

I have an email management problem Im the kind of guy who ends up with an inbox badge of thousands of unread Not a big deal because Mails search capability works so well right Of course theres a lot of downsides to having so many emails looming in that inbox Ive tried just about every new promising email app on iOS Countless that promise to help you get to inbox zero and manage email with clever new features Many have been very good but I inevitably moved back to Mail the new methods failing to help me cure my bad email habits Then came Sparks Smart Inbox and its simple and elegant management system Rather than feel the pressure to organize emails in countless different ways which I never ended up sticking with for long given the volume of email I get Sparks simplicity was a revelation Pin Snooze Archive Separating emails into different cards in the smart inbox help keep more relevant emails in sight without overwhelming me with less important emails while still making it a breeze to batch process the emails I need to see but rarely need to read like notification and alert emails Ive tried many excellent email alternatives to Mail but Ive never been able to stick with any of them until Spark After an initial purge Ive actually been able to maintain close to an inbox zero with Spark and its become my preferred way to process emails even over clients on the Mac Give it a shot and see how Spark can help you                 Paradigm Shift in Email Management

Ive tried all the big mail apps in the App Store Gmail Google inbox Accompli now exchange Mailbox Mailapp and now Spark Spark is the best balance of new features with tried and true usability The out of the box experience is phenomenal and I usually tweak my settings a ton It has just the right amount of customization and the watch app is very very handy This was the first mail app to make me delete all the rest and I havent looked back                 Far and away the best

I love Spark but it needs some stuff before it can become my daily driver First landscape support is required Second iPad support would also be great Third a big issue is that notifications get stuck in Notification Center on my iPhone 6 and wont clear out unless I reboot the phone Resolve these three issues and youre in 5star status           Great Start Needs Work

Please fix because I love this app           Frequent lockups in iOS9

This could be my every day email app but not without Exchange support bettersmoother syncing and more reliable notifications I live the overall feature set but this isnt an app I can use until the above is met        Needs Exchange Support

First off this is a 5 star app for iPhone I really like Spark but until they natively support iPad I dont have much use it because I prefer dealing with email on my iPad over my iPhone If someone can design an iPhone email app as good as this one is then it doesnt take much more to support the iPad resolution It just seems like common sense        iPad

I really love this app its great to view and read email but since the last two updates I cant open YouTube videos from the emails notifications itself and thats it the main function that I use email for so it gets kind of annoying if they fix this it will be perfect              YouTube notifications emails dont open

I have tried so many mail clients my top was always outlook till I tried Spark This app is amazing its so easy to setup and navigate as well as all the bells whistles it has I have never gotten to 0 emails across all my emails but this little bugger helped me achieve this task Keep up the good work                 Simply the best

With this latest update I can finally say its perfect With Spark and Readdles Scanner Pro I practically run my business on the go Smart notifications tell me when I get an important email which is good because I get a lot of spam and it means less time sorting through the mess By far the best and easiest email app Ive seen                 Best email app ever

Ive tried several different email apps and always finds my way back to the default option With this app Ive found a set of features that actually serve me and arent purely there as gimmicks One of nicest things about this app is the customization that is offered and you dont have to pay extra Give it a try and you will not be disappointed                 Best of the bunch

Fixed all prior bugs and now have alias support HTML signatures and remove quick replies and 3D Touch Other email apps havent even seen an iOS9 update let alone 3D Touch Just need to get 2 way syncing a bit better by best email out now by far By comparison Cloudmagic is still promising basic alias support a year later now This kills all other email apps and updated regularly                 Still buggy especially notifications

I have tried virtually every IOS email app that has come along and there is absolutely nothing better than Spark Such great features such as the Smart Inbox the swipe features HTML signatures the Pins and the list goes on and on The emails also look so clean The formatting of the emails are just beautiful It also seems that the Readdle team is constantly releasing improvements and updates Keep up the good work                 Best Email App Ever

Ive been trying different email clients forever And I was pretty satisfied with Mailbox until I started using Spark It fits so well to my workflow that Im already wishing for a desktop version too                 The best email client

Id been using Outlook and Mailbox but reliability became a major issue I love Sparks large and useful set of features It works with ALL my emails which is a lot Gmail iCloud Yahoo and Exchange Hope they add an OS X app to complement this great mobile client                 Comprehensive Feature Set Well Designed

I am compelled to write this review because it supports 3D Touch right off the bat when the iPhone 6s comes out It shows that these software engineers are hard at their work Besides all the integrations and prioritization for the emailing the 3D support just make it quicker to compose an email and find that attachment you need right away Kudos and hats off to these guys Thank you Thank you Thank you                 It supports 3D Touch right off the bat

Update Alas Im uninstalling this App due to performance issues Despite the superior interface waiting a minute for an email to open and display just doesnt work I look forward to this App opening emails from on par with gmail and recapturing my 5 Star Rating Spark is by far the best mail app ever designed for iOS But It has some serious performance and stability issues The app is so good though that I want to struggle with its shortcomings until they fix it Its that good        Spark Needs Some Spark

Spark has been a joy to use Ive used several different email apps for my iPhone Spark is by far the most intuitive and useful Spark can tell the difference between email from friendscolleagues vs an advertisement so Spark only alerts me when I get a real email This feature is great because my phone and Pebble watch arent vibrating when I get an advertisement Also Spark organizes new emails according to categories again separating real email from advertisements and newsletters Also when I pin items as important it keeps those emails near the top of the screen for easy reference Im very impressed Id be happy if Spark would create a companion app for the iPad or give the app work a landscape mode                 I love my email again
