Please update app to work with new update Everything was working great until I updated my iPad to the new operating system when iPhone 6 came out Now all my clients credit cards are denied after they sign App still works well on my iPhone5 havent updated that yet Im holding out on updating the operating system to when Apple gets the kinks out Otherwise it is great           Worked great until new iphone6 update

Two problems I see 1 you have to have location services on 2 I had a customer waiting while the newer version downloaded wouldnt let me use the old version then update cost me a customer because they didnt want to wait Thanks Capital One           Ok

Spark Pay is a must have for any small business Its really easy to use and has a simple layout for taking purchases Also a plus you can call customer support 7 days a week                 Love this app

Horrible bank deposit delays to picky on which transactions to put through Do not use if you need to use money fast to purchase equipment     Do Not Use

The latest Sept 8 update should be retracted For cash transactions you can longer enter the cash amount tendered by the customer Consequently cash transactions cannot be recorded I am moving back to Square Sparkpay youre fired     Keyboard no longer works for cash transactions

You know how some people complain about their accounts getting closed after running payments that Square or Spark Pay thought was suspicious Well I didnt even get the chance Spark Pay closed my account before I could even start accepting payments Lame     No chance to use

Every update the app gets a little better playing catch up to Square You are getting there but please add a text SMS receipt option autosend emails for repeat card users custom deposit cutoff time better item management that includes item VARIATIONS This is critical for accurate inventory management and avoids the need for many many menucluttering item entries The search feature for items is very useful thanks for that              Keep it coming

This does not work with the new iOS 8     No update

First I love Capitol One I have 2 Businesses and use their cards to make purchases for both and personel purchases on my 3rd Capitol 1 card I needed to upgrade my POS at one of my stores This program looked slick the ability to have unlimited catagories with unlimited items was what I needed To tell the truth setting up the program and entering all items making catagories prices and all was a snap This part is very well done I get it all set up on my Ipad tear out my old POS and go for it Day 1 didnt know how to do several things called the help line and got quick service 3 times great customer support Now for the very Ugly side of this program Who wrote this The same company that did Obama Care The lack of Common sense here is absurd I want to see my sales on the Ipad at work It says I have done xxxx so far Ok great I go to the reports section to do a quick print out to see the breakdowns Oh No it does no report print outs the only thing it will tell you is the total amount of taken in that day No Cash Credit card or TAX totals NO TAX TOTALS really I think to myself I must just be too stupid to figure it out so I make my 4th call of the day to Capitol 1 Sir Im sorry you could take a snapshot of the totals with a camera WWWWhat Really Sir the only way you can get reports to see your breakdowwns of the business you did today IE Cash CC tax is to go to your home use your computer and connect to spark pay you can then download your sales into MS Excell and that will give you all the info you need But I am at my store and when we close we need those totals just like every other business Ive ever seen to balance our cash drawer and such Sigh I go homke to try to figure out if we balanced or not the stupid thing doesnt download and I have no Idea if my Employees stole 5 or 500 today Fix this program to print out the basic needs on the reciept printer so one can operate a business otherwise this program is a waste of time        Is This just a Beta Test

Please add a function to refund or void a cash transaction           No way to void or refund a cash transaction

Dont sign up for this unless you are serious enough about it that its worth them locking your account almost immediately after you make a first transaction and require you to provide documentation of your business in order to get it back     Stay away

Got my reader in a couple of days App is super easy to use I can pretty much run my business from it My customers seem to like that its from a bank seems more secure Had to contact Customer Service once and they were awesome                 User Friendly

Would rate 5stars only if I had option to save email cause lot of business is delt with old customers and new ones Would save a lot more time and make it smoother transaction Thanks        Save email

I rated the old version and am sorry to see they still dont give the consumer the option to add a tip until theyve begun signing their name Literally the option to tip pops up on the top of the screen out of sight line as the customer is signing and boom they hit authorize and ask me hey so how do I tip Its hard to estimate how much lost income Ive incurred because of the PLEASE FIX the obvious design flaw update So they fixed this issue Until the last update and went BACK to having tip option pop up AFTeR customer begins to sign their name Dumb dumb DUMB Not to mention costly     Tip Function is Absurdly placed

My experience with customer service was atrocious Had only one return charge for over a year and Cap One did nothing to assist It just pulled the funds back and charged me a fee So I paid 37 for the processing and then another 16 for the return The funds were pulled from my trust which is illegal Not to mention that this happened weeks after the transaction so the late reversal is illegal as well Run away     Horrendous customer service

I have high volume using an Iphone 5s The placement of the authorize button on the lower right hand of the screen is a problem for all right handed users Many customers accidentally press the authorize button with their palm while still signing and before they can complete their signature When they do complete their signature and hit authorize they often bring up the basket instead of authorizing Moving the authorize button to the top would solve both of these issues              Authorize button needs to be moved to top

They drag their feet on sending out the card reader I signed up for this device on a Sunday but my projected delivery of the card reader is almost 10 days They ship the reader via UPS Innovations which is part of the USPS System This is a totally unnecessary way to ship something because it creates a delay because UPS has to delivery the reader to the USPS then the USPS has to process the reader through their system before the reader finally arrives at your location Either ship the thing directly through the USPS or UPS unless Capital One is intentionally delaying the reader so merchants are forced to pay the higher keyedin rate Most likely I would not have signed up for Spark Pay if I knew in advance about the shipping scenario     Beats the heck out of Amazon Local

I chose Spark Pay because their rates were better than Square I regret that decision I run a retail establishment and my credit card transactions are CONSTANTLY hanging during the Authorizing phase then drop out This generally leads to a sale loss entirely due to Spark Pays faulty app     Broken Service Stay Away

Sparkpay let me get my business off the ground Now i can take credit card in addition to cash                 Awesome

The pricing on this app is hard to beat and its easy to get setup There is also an actual person on the line if you need to call and talk to someone                 Great pricing and easy to use

This program has entirely too many steps before you even scan the card Then once you scan the card every transaction has to be signed for no matter how much it is At least make it skip the signature step if the transaction is 25 Then the authorizing step takes entirely too long Its rather awkward waiting for it to complete It makes my customers nervous Then there are at least 2 more steps before you can move on to the next customer And no total at the end of the day on the app I have to balance the transactions with my register I only gave this app 2 stars because for 995month I get a much cheaper rate Ill be canceling that this month and going back to PayPal Here Its much quicker and my money deposits faster        Too slow along with other issues

Ive been using this for a long time and i love it So much better than square and cheaper They let you do a monthly rate for a cheaper percentage than square It has the ability to scan items into your system by barcodes and already put the items in The customer service is more than helpful and that means a lot                 Love it

Its a big waste of time and money I made a sale on 2202015 at 345 pm and today March 3 rd I have not seen a dime of my sale of 39500 Now just imagine that you need your money to cove some expense and still have to wait With Square I got my money with in two days for example a sale on Friday at 56pm my money is in my bank for use on Tuesday Best regards Earl     Spark pay

By far the most user friendly transaction processing to date I personally live the live support and follow up Real people answer the phone and are very willing to assist you to help you get on track and stay on track for what best fits your business Ive used several competitors they only interact via email and it takes them days weeks and months to assist you with issues Spark Pay is the ultimate mobile solution to getting paid when your on the go                 Number 1

The authorization portion is incredibly slow 30 seconds Please fix        SLOW

Just wasted a bunch of time hopefully I save someone from doing what I just did     Do not waste your time if your device is jail broken

I am losing so much business because of the problems that they are having with this appI run a small business and every day I have to restart this app three of four times before it will start I keep on getting the same error message the location services message     Crap

Having similar issues after a one day test on my Carnivore BBQ Food truck in DC Takes a lot longer to authorize transactions than square asks u repeatedly about printing a receipt Crashed a few times during the middle of my lunch rush Even lost 1350 bc I thought it authorized transaction and instead the app basically crashed I had to stop and login to square which worked flawlessly Its worth trying again bc of the potential long term cost savings If it crashes again Ill only use for call in catering transactions        Manager

I love this app It does everything that my Square app does but has integrated mobile offers that I can send out and scan with my iPad camera and ties into the other Spark services from Capital One                 Game changer

Way too complicated to process credit cards Setting up and using took too long and required to many steps Processing a credit card needs to be quick and this app didnt do it     NOT User Friendly

Capital one will not release my funds after running a legal and valid transaction My clients funds have been removed from her account The site is very limited on the cellphone and not compatible with Internet Explorer 11     Do not usescam

So glad I made the switch from BofA to Spark Pay Im saving about 100 a month in processing fees Very good pricing reward cards have the same rate as debit cards and they dont nickel and dime me with 10 and 15 per swipe fees I know exactly what Im paying every time i swipe When i called BofA for my pricing they were telling me i was on interchange and there were over 400 different rates So confusing Spark pay has me on the pro plan and it is always 195 unless Amex or manually entered it will be 295 no surprises I was having trouble getting the card reader to connect with my Samsung Galaxy s 3 so now I just use my husbands iPhone and it works fine Love the fact that I can call and actually speak to a person every day of the week but they should extend their customer see I s hours on the weekends                 Money Saver

1 It only accepts one tax percentage For a restaurant type operation this could be a problem if you have one tax percentage on food and another tax percentage on alcohol You can change the tax percent charged at any time but whatever it is set at at time of sale is what it charges You need to be able to associate various tax percentages with specific items 2 You cannot tender a sale with multiple forms of payment If a customer wants to split their payment between cash and credit card nope you cant do that 3 Customer service is nice but has no answers to these issues and nobody is listening        Two Serious Shortcomings
