I ve been in toastmasters for about 2 years now and I can t express enough how this app helps me organize my thoughts I ve been through many prompter apps and finally there is one who honors the grammar portion of it Love the color code grammar feature that helps you really get to the meat of what you want to say Great app I did have trouble using the video recording LOW SOUND Could use some updates there but over all great app                 A toastmaster Majesty42

The menu interface is weak The app is stuffed full of demo speeches which I find useless but there seems to be no way to delete them except one by one which would take hours Please provide a way to delete the sample speeches so I can conveniently find my own files The timer functions in LIVE mode would be useful during a speech to stay on schedule Unfortunately they only seem to work with Siri More troubling I tried using Siri as a speech aid I had used the highlight function to highlight verbs As Siri read the speech most highlighted verbs were deleted I had to edit the document to replace the deleted verbs How about some Customer Support or at least a User Forum Perhaps someone should test the software before offering it for sale In the meantime I will be eagerly awaiting fixes and improvements         Promising but needs work Apichet Tech

I love this app The different colors you have are great and I guess I can put up with what is their and that may be great for some That is having subjects and adverbs etc in different colors What I was talking about is being able to color in a entire sentence or a part of a sentence with the many different colors you have That would allow the ones that what the action words or the would have the opportunity to do as I mention above a sentence or part of a sentence with the many colors that you have for the action words You notice I recommend this app highly and will continue to do so                     Love this app Rich3981

I was never a very confident public speaker but Speech Maker has helped me improve my game It also gives access to other speeches so I can observe how others present themselves and the topics I recommend trying it out It doesn t cost much and has been worth every penny to me                     Super App tiki2006

I bought this app because it claims to be Dropbox compatible BUT When trying to import a speech from Dropbox you ll receive the error This app is in development mode and can t accept more users Contact the app developer and ask them to use the Dropbox API App Console to apply for production status         Beware Dropbox doesn t work Ken Kristensen

I love supporting app developers in the app store but I expect to get what you say I am getting And if I screw up then tell me so but that would mean you have to answer the tech support email that I wrote But wait was going to ask you yet one more time before leaving this review but your webpage says not to leave more than one email about a problem Its doesn t work as advertised period Can t import from Dropbox because error authorizing app Only a limited set of users can receive access tokens while this app is in development mode and pdf imports from google just simply fail to render on the screen properly if at all Fail Sorry guys but the only thing plumamazing about this app is that you got it reviewed in blogs that I regularly read and NOW those bloggers are ALSO on notice Thank God I only lost three bucks and 15 hours of time         Simply doesn t work and tech support not answering Dr. KDA

Check out my 2010 review in short I loved it Speechmaker has had maybe three updates since then but has worked with every iPad and iOS since then I have read short essays and poetry etc to a live audience 4 or more times without a hitch I was devastated to find my glee for a new update turning to horror as it now would not even load I have an iPad Air It will load onto my iPhone 5S but that is not something I would want to use I rebooted my iPad no success and will try deleting and reload I will amend my review if I have any success Success I deleted the app directly from my iPad and wondered at the cloud icon that remained Nevertheless I reloaded it from the cloud and it opens without hesitation This is the biggest update I ve seen adding support for more file types and control gestures for font size I always keep my content in duplicate in a folder on my iMac and would advise the precaution for all apps Perhaps Dewey7777 can restore his device from his last sync and save the content before re installing Good luck                     What a joy dhort

Used to be an innovative app Hasn t been updated since 2010 The whole point is to be able to track time as you speak But that feature doesn t work because you can t adjust the time that you want to speech to take Therefore time passed and time remaining are irrelevant The app crashes anytime you try to change the default time which is always 240 If they would fix this would still be a good app Get Teleprompt instead     Left Behind CubbieBlueNWI

The program has crashed every time after about eight minutes of playing back a recorded 15 minute speech I have always been able to resume It s great to speed up the scrolling and adjust the timing of the speeches I love the program and would like to see this issue resolved The scrolling works great But I am worried that it might crash during a live presentation I have been able to seamlessly upload and download to GoogleDocs a great boon Would give it a five except for the playback                 Crashes when playing back Drnsoi
