This game is about as fun as catching bugs in my house which is to say not fun at all Seriously tho after the first few levels each room feels like a chore It s like the family left to give the maid you enough time vacuum up all their damned bugs No thanks         Just as fun as catching bugs for real Ughhhhhhhhh!

Eagerly waiting for the sequel Probably my favorite game But now a little crashy on the iOS8 iphone 6 Please update so I can enjoy it all over again I d give it 10 stars if I could This is not just a game it is a mysterious adventure Highly addictive 4 games come with the app but my favorite is The Secret of Bryce Manor It opens the story with hints on how to move The spider can run walk jump tackle leap turn around and eat This game bumps up the challenge with each level and holds your interest It has a very responsive interface You go up on levels as you work thru the mansion inside and outside There are clues to be found There are achievements to build and there is a secret I have been thru the game once and not yet learned the secret I can see that there are different ways to play to get different results The more you play the better you get There are interesting ways to catch the different bugs It s got great sound affects and is so realistic The mood is all there like a great movie novel mystery It s fun fun fun The graphics and soundtrack are amazing It s meant for one player but I ve played it with one if my kids by trading off the different levels We have a blast watching and encouraging each other Thank you for this masterpiece                 Can t get enough Trac_sea

This was the first game I played on any iOs device back in 2009 and when I heard that it was finally receiving a sequel I decided I should replay it Amazingly considering all the innovation in mobile gaming in the last six years it is still fun to play If you are obsessive like I am it will take you maybe three hours to complete the adventure mode campaign and there are several more hours worth of content in the other game modes I like to break down my reviews into story visuals audio and gameplay so here goes Story This game is rather story light expecting the player to create their own version of what happened at the manor based on vague clues and imagination but it works really nicely I felt motivated to track down every secret and open every hidden room For what it is it does this very well Visuals The hand drawn aesthetic is lovely even by today s standards with a lot of care put into each of the backgrounds The bugs and spiderwebs don t stand up to time quite as well but they are not bad enough to be emersion breaking It is important to note however that the visuals don t quite stand up to the most recent iPhone screens and it looks really fuzzy if you try and blow it up on an iPad They do have an iPad version however Audio This was one of the first games that put obvious effort into their audio and I remember being very impressed within it first came out That said by today s standards it is lacking The music is repetitive and has little depth Gameplay The gameplay is perhaps the weak point of this game When it came out it was amazing but in 2015 it is lacking There are only a few types of enemy bugs and the gameplay breaks down to make webs chase bugs eat stuff That said because of the campaign s shortness it never has a chance to really get boring Overall this game is still worth playing and it is especially impressive considering its age                 The game that started it all is still fun Shortstuff410

Real spiders don t have to walk around things to get somewhere After several levels of not being able to walk across something instead of around it I quickly tired of the game Getting beyond that the game is kind of atmospheric good music but time limits ruin that The point of a timed game is to improve your time not to die after munching on six wasps just because it hasn t eaten one in the last 30 seconds or whatever It s overkill and unrealistic a spider can go days without eating The game mechanics would be more appropriate for a sci fi FPS but you used a spider Let it be a spider and travel anywhere Also allow the player to play against himself or other bugs not against an arbitrary clock     Frustrating because unrealistic MisterMellow001

Love the game but can only find 16 secrets out of 17 the problem is that sometimes when the game is loading up it will try to go to a web page and gets stuck have to let my iPod die before before I can do anything also it was messing up 2 other games of mine I think it may have a hidden virus in it as since it has been deleted my other games now work fine hope you guts fix this issue because I would like to plat again please send email for update for this problem as it is now deleted thanks for a wonderful game                     Spider crashes Karlatrekkie
