From the previous reviews I expected this game to be rather boring but I felt compelled enough by the story line to download it anyway It was much better than I expected Good story and gorgeous graphics as previously noted The bonus chapter was of decent length and had a good quality plot that tied in with continued the main story The game itself wasn t very long but not too short either middle of the road really The puzzles weren t plentiful enough and were not very challenging which is my main complaint The glitches were minimal and for me only popped up when I random tapped too much in an HOS at which point it crashed the game but I was able to load it back up and continued where I left off I would have given this a 4 star review but gave 5 to counter the 1 star reviews which I felt were unfair No offense meant to those who have trouble downloading or loading the game but are you sure it isn t a problem with your device My older ipad has trouble with games sometimes which my new one loads right up My advice is to make sure your iOS is updated and to do a hard restart of the device hold down the power button until it asks if you want to power button Also be sure you aren t running very low on space as this can significantly impact the function of apps I would love to see a sequal to this one and I don t say that about many games But the plot was good enough that it could be worthwhile for this one Overall I would reccommend this game to anyone who is an avid HOS player who doesn t mind something lighter ie not as difficult or elaborate as a fun way to pass a rainy afternoon But if you can only afford one game or are new to the genre stick to something more solid like the first Dana Knightstone game or anything by Artifex Mund games which I consider to be top of the genre                     Better than expected MiriamLeviah

I wish I had read Sunshine Susie s review before I purchased this game The glitchy ERS bunny has struck again I thought it had a good storyline gorgeous graphics and colorful cutscenes There was no journal or objectives to update You could at least customize your settings Inventory was labeled and there were plus items to assemble Loading was instantaneous between locations and there was a marked teleport map to get you there The HO scenes had some variation to them There were not enough puzzles mini games and those are the most fun for me It s ERS so of course there was a mouse and a RAT Dealt with both I deducted stars because the game was glitchy and even with the bonus chapter it was an extremely short game When I say glitchy it was in regard to inventory placement which makes it tedious to play Unless they update it do not bother especially if you didn t get the sale price Lynxie sends to the DTE and recommends to all gamers to check out games by Five BN UK They are far superior to a lot of the developers we are used to they give us ALL the game elements we love including a long free trial and their games are way lengthy Namely the New York Mysteries series and Lost Lands 2 and 3 not the first because you need to use energy and I hate that You re welcome             Spirits of Mystery Chains of Promise by LynxMinx lynx minx

Spirits of Mystery Chains of Promise starts with an excellent premise You play as a Princess whose best friend is another princess Her father has promised her to the Evil Isa Court Magician because he once saved her life You arrive for the wedding and discover that she does not wish to marry Isa Isa has a mysterious black panther who seems to be giving the orders What can you do Well your spunky nanny gave you a Gargoyle Mirror which allows you to see magic around the palace You try to help the princess escape her marriage Puzzles are typical with good Hint and Skip buttons You find recipes for potions all over the palace and are able to make them Additional collectibles include stamps or seals for sealing wax My complaints with this one are that sometimes you must resort to the Strategy Guide just to see what needs to be done in the game Also controls are somewhat touchy if you put an item just one sixteenth of an inch off it won t be recognized Also with the Gargoyle Mirror you must find ALL the gargoyles or you can t proceed in the game That was a bit frustrating If not for those minor problems I would have awarded four stars instead of three Still a good game for the sale price             Unchain My Heart SunshineSusie
