I have tried several packing lists but this one beats all of them The best thing is that the App is prefilled with all the items that I normally forget if my wife does not help me pack Furthermore the App has a simple user inteface that is not bloated with functions and buttons it does what it is supposed to do and it does it well I have installed it on both my iPad and iPhone it would be really nice if the App could sync between the devices maybe you could put that in your next update Bottom line its certainly worth the 099 Dean Good app GREAT content
Finally a packing list app that beats just entering everything into SimpleList It is easy to use and you can easily go back after making a list to add or delete things I would give it 5 stars if they would add just a bit more detail to the standard list It just says clothes appropriate for climate Great but as a mom who has forgotten to pack the kids socks or her own pjs I could use a little more detail like pants shorts shirts socks undies pjs bathing suit Nothing crazy detailed I dont need 14 kinds of pants on the standard list like my other worthless packing app But a few subcategories would be nice But its a great app for generating your starting list Finally
This is not much of an improvement over pen and paper I like that you can save lists to use again but its not very flexible You have to create categories for items that then appear on separate pages I got around that by using to pack and to do and once youve typed in an item or list there is no way to edit or move around Also you cant draw from their list of items to populate your own list You can start with their list and delete each unnecessary item individually but that is a real pain If these things were fixed I would very gladly raise my rating Hopefully in future upgrades Disappointing but functional
This is the best app that I have found for packing lists The default contents are great and the ability to customize is good UI is clean but could be even more agenda like for my taste Please add ability to sync across different iOS devices The ability to generate and sync with a website would also improve list creation Great packing list app
