Still working great and maybe even better with updates but I do get tired of being asked to rerate the app after every update I previously had written a bad review on Splashtop Business App for iPhoneiPad and after no longer working via the Internet for sometime decided to try the Personal edition which is working great since I have a personal subscription not a business subscription I can actually access my computer from anywhere again via my iPhone and it is smooth and highly workable doing everything I need with no problems Seems during an update to a newer version it had not been very clear what I should be using to match the app on the computer and the subscription I had so i updated to the wrong newer version going from Splashtop original to Splashtop 2 Glad things are back to normal and very satisfied with the new improvements Had the wrong App
I use this app almost daily and it rarely gives me problems Its the best mobile remote desktop app Ive used primarily because the minimal input lag Excellent
IT WORKS FOR ANYBODY THAT CAN RUN AN IPHONE OR WINDOWS Every time A couple strokes and you are in I am a surgeon and some of the computers in the OR are slow I make my point to upgrade by whipping out my iPhone or iPad and pulling up reconstruction CT scans on my stuff using splash top before they can get it up on some of the in housein OR room computers The interface between the actual computer track pad and how its converted to touch screen equivalent is obvious and by messing with it for 30 minutes you have learned how to do it all wrong and in exchange you now know how to operate it correctly and easily IM A CAVEMAN AND I CAN DO IT
I use it constantly I have my Mac Mini hooked to my tv When the kids want to watch some tv and I have to work I just use Splashtop on my iPad or iPhone and work without having to hog the tv from the rest of the family As long as you have a steady connection theres no problem with lag Best part is that you can stream video and audio from the Mac through the app Great App
Installed created account tried to log on and it just sits there Dont want to spend hours going through their support web site Why should you have to spend hours getting this to work Example try to find the revision on your iPhone for this app Cant be done Summary dont use this app Dont work

Its pretty good You have to pay for a few features but thats ok I just use it to not be a recluse in my houses office And gaming in bed Recommendation use a Bluetooth keyboard it helps with gaming Pretty darn awesome

I have tried multiple VNC apps and this one is the best in my opinion The desktop software in conjunction with the mobile platform makes it extremely versatile Best option available
This has been a lifesaver being able to access our entire video library on our home PC while on vacation Makes long car rides much easier and makes up for not wanting to pay exorbitant fees for extra channels in your hotel room The possibilities with this app go far beyond this of course I use this whenever my parents need tech help so I can just take control of the computer and do whatever needs doing Also works great for playing flash games Other games that are keyboard and mouse dependent such as World of Warcraft as mentioned in the description really dont work well The speed is sufficient for activities that dont require quick thinking or fast response but the controls are just too awkward to make it viable or even enjoyable Other than that though its great for a myriad of different purposes Well worth the 2 and the 2 monthly fee to access your computers while away from your home network Great for vacations

Whenever i try to connect it says my computer and i are on different networks when we are on the same network Then when i send an email to get a free week of anywhere connecting it doesnt work Rip off Doesnt work
Two stars because the app is fantastic at everything but gaming input I can connect just fine consistently and get good quality audio and video However it bills itself as allowing you to play games In games that require the mouse the sensitivity is so bad that the games are utterly unplayable Also it does not support any Direct X game in full screen mode you have to switch to windowed mode Docked three stars because it not only doesnt live up to its claims with gaming but Ive seen people complaining in the forums dating back three years about the mouse sensitivity issue Its obviously been ignored Mouse input is unusable in games mars an otherwise great experience

I purchased the previous version of this app and it worked great Recently wanted to start using it again only to find out if I wanted to connect to my computer I have to get the new app for 299 Now I find out that if I am not on the same network I have to pay for an anywhere access pack for an ADDITIONAL 1699 per year Deleted and I will be asking for a refund Pay for the app then pay to use it
Lets me check on programs running in the office while im playing with my kids Helps me be a better employee and dad at the same time Wonderful time saver
Having tried somewhat similar Apps in the past I didnt set my hopes too high with Splashtop Personal But Splashtop floored me After I was finished using it the first time I was hit with the thought I guess this is what all those other Apps were trying to be or do This did EVERYTHING right The ease in making the connection the guidance provided once connected and ultimately the performance make this a most welcome addition on my iPhone Highest Recommendation AhhMazing
With iOS 84 I cant even access the Computer list After the logging in the app crashes I tried to reboot my iPhone but the app is still crappy Crashes
iPhone 6 I use Splashtop for both business and home use and it is one of the coolest apps I own Definitely worth the purchase I can check on my laptop in the next room or my computer half an hour away at my office both instantaneously Manage remote file sharing and computer maintenance anytime anywhere Its not hover cars but its a sweet taste of the future Great job Incredibly Helpful
Ive been using splashtop since its first year and it has always been slick intuitive and incredibly capable the first time I rebooted a my computer from out of state and logged it in it was like I had no more strings wasnt excited to have to start paying for this feature with 2 but its pocket change I kept the legacy for remote access for a long time and but Im buying in the splashtop family of apps have my crazy device family super connected you dont get things like file transfer but its not really for that I can sit at my computer with my iPad as a 2nd screen and my iPhone as trackpadkeyboard great for HTPCs anyway love it keep it up ninja app Essential

Splashtop is not a very useful app What if I wanted to reverse the process and have things from my phone on my computer Its just not possible with Splashtop Also the games it claims to convert dont work Plus who wants their computer two feet away while on their phone Couldnt you just use the computer This could be a great idea if it had a higher quality For now its just useless Not Very Useful
Many including myself have paid for the full version just to be blind sided that they are now charging a monthly fee which was Not part of the agreement at that time You can google this information to validate what I am saying This company is so unpredictable that what you pay for is not nesserialy what you are going to be receiving CAUTION

Google remote desktop is free and lets me access my computer across the Internet It works very well But I have to pay for this Splashtop app and then pay an additional monthly subscription to access my computer if Im not on the same WiFi network Sorry but Google just made this app obsolete Dont waste your time Not up to Par Better free alternatives
