Was really hoping to us for connecting to my MSSQL database via my iPad no luck Failed attempts over and over and support is in German update works well with MS SQL 2008 but not with MS SQL 2005 With 2008 does everything youd expect Wont Connect
This app is pretty good definitely the best SQL query writer I have found at least for those that like to hand type their queries It works really nicely How could it be improved Well the CSV export could actually export Comma Separated Values instead of Tab Separated Tab Separated doesnt export well to Numbers and by extension excel Also having a way to save your queries other than by copying to clipboard would be nice An option to export the results and query into an email would be excellent I hope this app gets developed further Its on the right track Finally a query app I can use
Very nice app One fix and two suggestions Fix Exporting data to CSV or other formats does not keep columnar data in columns All data is concatenated into one column Suggestion 1 Please add the ability to save and recall scripts either locally or using online storage like Dropbox or Google Drive 2 Long scripts become uneditable as the text falls behind the keyboard Would like to be able to save scripts
Works as advertised Simple and intuitive interface Great for looking up data on the run and executing simple queries Would be nice to be able to save local queries and change cell format all data in columns is centered within the cells Great
If reviews were just on whats advertised this app would get a 5 I think a review should be on how the app does in the soup it is swimming in I have been able to do everything with a script that I can do from Management Studio so far including creating and executing stored procedures What the app needs is local storage of scripts or at least register with the IOS so it can be in the Open In and bring in the script from file managing apps and emails It has the ability to export scripts but really needs to be able to import them as well or provide its own local storage Does what is says it will do
