This fully functional database app is so much fun I am learning SQLite not to be confused with lite apps to manage small databases for my web sites and programming classes I had trouble getting into thick textbooks on database managment but the documentation is clear and concise and right in the app it even has elegant diagrams so I can leave the 50 doorstop at home I had one reservation about the program which was I need a landscape keyboard to make my queries sound like popcorn I wrote the developer and they responded promptly to assure me they were planning that addition in an upcoming update I went ahead and got it now because its a great deal and I can absorb the documentation until I outgrow the portrait keyboard Great Idea Great Functionality Great Deal Great Developer Great Support

This app doesnt support the read command of SQLite This means you cant write a proper SQL file and execute it This app only allows you to enter one command at a time which makes this app a toy at best If this app supported the read command or even had the ability to execute multiple SQL commands at a time I would gladly give it 5 stars and pay 10 for it Disappointed

This app rocks If youre even vaguely familiar with SQL you can use this for storing and retrieving any type of data and then query that data for parsed results I use it constantly Great application

I think its a nice little app 1 and you can write basic to intermediate SQL and run it Great for fooling around with an idea My two suggestions are 1 While the built in SQLite reference is handy very annoying that theres no back button for when youve drilled down a couple topics and dont want to go all the way back Can you add that 2 How about a grid for returned SELECT results as an option instead of the pipe delimited text Otherwise great work for great price Great App A Couple Suggestions

Developer did a great job for a fair price I dont write alot of reviews but since this appeals to a more developer type audience I thought Id balance out some of the comments from people wondering where the connect to database button is lol I have been meaning to work with sqlite and this is great As far as I can tell this console does everything you could do from a desktop console with just enough to cope with being on an ipod the favorite queries and history are great I use them as templates Suggestions for next version Be able to give saved queries a title and save them in a list indexed by name only not the full query text Be able to group those saved queries by project or something syntax highlighting for sql keywords sql code suggestions like intellisense a clear screan option Thanks again App is exactly as sold

Just downloaded the 13 update Have to say that Im very pleased For the 99 theres no better app for conceptual database design on the go Would definitely reccomend it Great Development App

Now that you can have multiple databases I highly recommend this app Theres no GUI but for interacting with databases in SQL using one of the most popular file container databases SQLite3 this app is perfect Excellent SQLite App

Having the power of SQL on my phone is great and the favorites and recents make it usable without a real keyboard The fact that you can create most or all of the database on the computer and transfer it over is what actually makes it worthwhile Id hate to enter in enough data to be worth putting in a database via a thumb keyboard I also set up some views to minimize the typing required to get useful stuff out of my database Very nifty

No instructions how to connect to a database Waste of money IMO Useless app

This is a great way to test out database on the go No GUI no intellisense but good enough to hack out a database Great for the price
