The new Star Trek Comics app version 3.81 has been updated on 2014-11-16. This wonderful app has many great Star Trek comics some of the comics are ones that go with the movies others are just fun ones There are different series of comics This app is a really great app                     Great app Star ship enterprise

I thought when the website says If you have an IDW iOS app account all your purchases will be available in the new apps and 2 Once you register with the correct email address all of your previous comic purchases will show in the My Books list on the new IDW family of apps That I would be able to sync my purchases on the site to this app In fact there s a restore purchases button It doesn t work When I asked support they just redirected me to the FAQs Useless     Not what I thought ClosedLine

What happened to this app It used to be very polished and innovative I loved how the navigation worked and made the action come alive Now it s a POS Stay as far away from this crap as you can     This used to be a great app tezzybear

I really like being able to go frame by frame while reading Then zooming out to see the layout of the page I really don t like the new app controls     Preferred the old app Mikemcgb

The Star Trek movie series is good but the cross overs with Planet of the Apes Doctor Who and DC books like Green Lantern and Legion of Super Heroes are great It s taken some time to get used to the latest updates and didn t like them at first Bu warming up to it now and actually like the free motion comics too                     Star Trek comics So That’s My Opinion

This was formerly a five star review You guys have really made a mess of what used to be a perfect comics app The old version got me back into reading comics for the first time since the Nineties I ve spent hundreds of dollars on comics in this the DC and the Marvel apps But now you ve broken the experience and to make matters worse you post clearly fake reviews saying love it The new app is much better Stop complaining Until you return to the original comixology version with in app purchases you won t get another dime from me And I m sure I m not even remotely alone in that     Perfect comics app edit Not anymore Dunder Mifflinne

I ve never been a fan of comics but I have been a lifelong Trekker so I thought I d give the Star Trek comics app a shot It was a good experience I enjoyed each comic I bought Then you changed the app Why on earth would you do that It had been working really well it was intuitive and easy Now it s neither Oh and your new registration process makes no sense at all Ugh     A huge disappointment keith!@#

Awful update The flow of the comic is frustrating I now have to zoom myself It used to be seamless but the update makes reading them frustrating     Terrible Jennie O like the Turkey.

It s a pain to have to sign up for the madefire or whatever it s called You can still download previous purchases the new layouts annoying as is the user interface Thankfully I don t read a bunch of IDW so when I stop using the ap I won t be out much in the way of reading time     Pretty disappointing Judoka71

This update is awful Everything looks different half of my comics have turned into something else Did I mention I got this app and paid so much on it to read comics and not to watch them I absolutely loathe Madefire and one of the reasons I downloaded this app is not to get all the motion but the actual original art Besides everything looks so different and whatever if I keep ranting people will loose interest in my comment Bring the old version back please     What happened Adaksksmcmxmmxnx

While the app does work for me in terms of account and downloads the downloads have gaps and some pages of the wrong comic in them The app is clearly looks like a beta product         Grade D DremWkr

Can t connect to my old account have to create a new one When trying to read gets fully downloaded start reading but then errors and says can t download Won t let me access downloaded file Layout is bad see NO improvements over the previous version that worked perfectly Why fix things that aren t broken     The new app is so bad ........................m

I ve been reading since the app launched I ve switched iPhones twice and bought an iPad and been through tons of updates and I still have every comic I ve ever purchased                     Works perfectly for me WestTexasJack

The app description makes it sound like there are free comix but if so you evidently have to buy some first All I ever got from this free app was a sort of storefront to buy comics which I did not Gave it 2 stars only because the storefront looks nice and it may be a great app for all I know but it is NOT free         Purchase required Patticom

I was very happy when this app became powered by comixology because I had purchases in both but I can t get the star trek or IDW purchases to show up If I try to buy within this app it tells me I ve bought them but not downloaded So I try to download and they re not there If I go to comixology they are happy to take my money again no surprise there I m not happy now that s for sure         Comixology comics are there previous star trek purchases are not nefariousporpoises

I downloaded the application to read the new comics based on the movie The first one displayed the cost of 3 99 There was no indication of the number of pages It turned out it was a simple scan of the pages of the comics The DC Marvel and other comics allow you to double click on a frame and get a full zoom of the frame and advance to the next frame with a finger swipe This one requires you to zoom in to a frame by spreading your fingers apart like you would do to zoom in on a web page or picture To go to the next fram you have to zoom out or scroll around to see it it s to the right or below For 3 99 I expected an actual digital comic I would also have liked to know before I purchased it and how many pages it was Also it s a re run of the Where No Man has Gone Before episode AND it s not the complete episode and continued at the end At the most this should have cost 1 99 per comic 3 99 is a rip off in my opinion Had I known this and been given a proper description of the comic and its number of pages I would never have wasted the money             Disappointed renrut57

I am a big Trekkie and I love this app I am able to purchase and read a large quantity of Star Trek comics that are fun The comics are cheap too so you don t have to break the bank to enjoy yourself I recommend this app for anyone who is a Star Trek fan                     Great App VikingApocalyps

Works great for me the free comics are full ones not just a 15 panel preview Plus the prices for the comics are fair I hope it catches on and we see a lot more new classic Star Trek comics nothing like new adventures with Kirk Spock and the gang My only complaint is the icon used for selecting the reading mode it is like an export icon not something you would expect for changing the reading mode Other than that great Just remember to turn your phone sideways to use the alternate reading mode                     Classic Star Trek phaedrusKant

The graphics look great on my iPad2 I have not experienced any crashes I did have to re read my first comic twice because I had to adjust the pace of the show to comic book style but that was me not the app The free issues give you a good taste of what you are getting into                     Works great Exbuster

For ages I ve been bugging these folks to sync their Star Trek app with their main app There s no way I m buying anything more from them until they make their own apps talk to each other I d like to get rid of the more limited app but they won t transfer it over and I m not rebuying stuff     They can t even sync with their own apps LordFaramir

Having incomplete series for over a year and never posting the follow up comics is terrible and not excusable Why would I want to only read the first part of a story and then have to hunt down the rest by purchasing physical comics I want my money back for having purchased comics in the app and expecting the follow ups to have been posted     Great idea terrible implementation trothmaster
